No Man’s Sky
I had heard about this game and wanted to play, but I couldn’t justify the $60 price tag. But when it went on sale, I snapped it up and wish I had done it a long time ago. This is everything I’ve wanted in a VR game.

The game is great at giving you the tools you need to build but giving you the freedom to do what you want to do. My big goal is to create a home on my planet. I started to do that on the first planet I found because I thought I had to.You can rename everything. But then the game leads you to other planets as you’re trying to solve this traveler mystery, but I don’t want to give away too much. I was surprised when I discovered that I could make a homebase on any planet I land on. when I realized that some planet were less toxic than others, I was really surprised. First, since my initial planet had a bad effect on me to the point where I had to constantly power my EXO suit to protect me from the environment. This mess that I had to constantly gather carbon and sodium to keep my suit running, but then I got on another planet that was prettier and more colorful than the original planet and I realize I didn’t have to collect as much of those resources but this planet didn’t have some other resources I need.
The mechanics of building is really well done. Once you access plans for things, you can create them in your inventory, but you must have the material in your inventory and you must have space. Each time you go to create something and will tell you what you need and how to get it. For instance, I came upon a drop pod that would give me the ability to increase my XO suit inventory, but it needed to be repaired and in order to repair it I had to to have some materials. Some of them like carbon nano tubes, I could make. Then there was a couple of things I needed to buy on the space station. Then there was something called nitrate complex nitrate that I could find on the planet, but if required in advanced mining tool to mine. So this sent me on an adventure of finding out how to upgrade my mining tool which we required a certain kind of currency that you get from discovering and uploading that information to the system. Once I was able to figure out how to get credit for the stuff I had done. I had just enough to get the upgrade from my mining tool and then I was able to go back to the planet and get the nitrate and repair the pod equipment and upgrade my inventory on my ex suit.
There’s so many mechanics that the game has to learn for instance while traveling to the space station, I have to make sure that I blow up asteroid I pass to get tritium to power my ship. The controls on the ship are so cool that I actually feel like I am flying/piloting my little spacecraft. Then while I was in space trying to get to get enough of the material to keep my ship flying so I could go to the faster speed. I got a attacked and I thought I was going to be destroyed and have to start over. I was trying desperately to get to the space station. But then a hi t popped up and told me which button to press to track the hostile ship and before I knew it, I was having a dog fight with my new ship and I want.
Of course, my biggest thing is that I managed to get to what is called the anomaly which is where the multiplayer portion comes in. I haven’t completed all of the questions necessary, but I did see other people. It was very exciting.
The other thing that is cool about this game is that it is cross platform. This means that I can play with people PlayStation, PC VR, and flatscreen people. I can also access my game on my MacBook Pro. Although I haven’t done much of that because I’m not comfortable with the controls. But it does come in handy if I want to do some screenshots or just check something when I’m not ready to go into virtual reality.
Every day is something new and amazing and exciting. I figured out how to make creature pallets, which meant that I could tame a pet. And if the pet is happy and lays an egg, and then I can take the egg to the anomaly, which is like the main base where you can meet people, and genetically modify it into a different pet.
Then I got into a battle as I was trying to get to a space station, and it turned out that I was defending a freighter that was under attack, and the freighter captain was so pleased that I helped that he gave me the freighter. So now I have a freighter.
I got a settlement:

Greetings CAW Crew!
Hoping you're both doing well and Grand Nagas is back again!
Attached is my audio update for this episode. While I got a new laptop, I'm still recording on my mobile device but I'll find my proper mic at some point.
Below are some screenshots which include free rainbow glider wings for this month and some screenshots from a battle with a big test robot. Gaming is so much better on this new machine!
P.S. I might be looking at a audio transformation project given that I'm in GW2 rather than WOW these days but it'll take some editing and something for a future audio contribution.

Good day CAW Crew!
Kep here!
Well it’s been another busy couple of weeks! My army of Alts continues! More and more race and class combo’s! There are so many cool choices now, especially with all the new races and customisation options. I very much like the Red skin options for the Draenei (which is definitely worth unlocking).
I became a little obsessed with the Dark Moon Faire this month, especially killing the ‘Death Metal Knight’.. unfortunately I only had one good drop, the ‘Steel-Reinforced Cage Helm’.
I completed the Traveler’s log quickly to claim the Molten Cormaera Mount. I also bought the blue version from the Trading Post and the Green Fel version from the shop. They are all very nice mounts!
I really like the way Blizzard has introduced timeline choices so we can relive the good old Wrath or Burning Crusade days!
I have also been running some old world raids for more transmog options and have gotten back into playing the Auction House; which has all kept me very busy..
Anyway.. hope you are all well?
Keep up the good work..
