FFXIV: 7.4 Patch Notes (Preliminary) Reading

Chinese New Years. The year of the horse. So we get a horse, a unicorn, as a minion this time.

The tournament finals to determine the champions will be held at each Fan Festival.

The first FanFest will be in April in Anaheim, CA.

Some of my points of interest in Patch 7.4:

So after ELEVEN years we finally get this option!

Crafting in FFXIV and the fact that it’s really fun, imo at least.

New option for trial synthesis: Preset starting quality.

 

New crafter scrip gear released with 7.4 iLvl 750.

Final scrip gear tier of DT.

Glam disregarding jobs, even some weapons / shields.

General topic:

Chocobo training! Different foods for different uses. Favorite foods.

Jaffa Cake progress:

End of year cleanup in the inventory and on the retainers.

Working on her iLvl 750 scrip crafter gear.
So far I have 3 / 4 accessories, only the earrings are still missing.

I chose to get those first, because the accessories provide you with the CP or Crafting Power you need in crafting. Most actions you perform cost CP and the more CP you have the more actions you can perform, and thereby finish your craft. The other resource you have is Durability, but that is a preset number for every craft and you can’t change that.

The new PvP Series has started, and the first reward is from reaching Rank 5, as per usual.

Attached is my audio for this week. I've just been playing Final Fantasy 14 which is taking over my life but I'm really enjoying it. I will find time for NMS and GW2 eventually, just been sucked into the story and then I picked a secondary class/job for my character and yeah, my time played in game, shows just how much I've been playing it. (see below)
