Nice week in WoW, Just amazing people to hang out with in Battlegrounds… I capped on Conquest.
I've run some Warsong gulch for the PvP quest in the garrison.
I did specific BG queue to get 4 wins, which meant that i got rep with Silverwing Sentinels.
Selling some pets on Earthen Ring cuz i ran out of gold when i got to 90.
Hammering some CD's on my main on Thorium Brotherhood US Alliance.
No time to work on Valor except for the 500 from the weekly PvP quest.
Hours of typing and chatting to Dischord server, everyone very supportive of my wife's stay in hospital. :D

Not a whole lot to report for my week this week. I did the garrison shuffle quite a bit, with loads of repeat basic achievements that really don’t need spotlighting.
After the show last week I found out I have garrison achievements that allow me to put monuments up!

We did Saturday Night Noobs, the lineup was Big G, me, and Vrishna (x4.) First we did Battle for Mount Hyjal. Took us a while to figure out where it was, then another while to figure out how to start it, but we finally finished it. :)

Then we headed off to Draenor to do some current content. We convinced G to get his first garrison, too! No screenshots of that, though. We did run around frostfire ridge killing some rares for upgraded armor bits, though.

Hello everyone!
Long story short, I used to play WoW from the end of Burning Crusade until near the end of Cata, listened to your show back when it was just Aprillian Ashayo and Glanthur, and it was good times. I remember when you found a stray Vrishna and taught him the glories of WoW, when Juuno started her emails, MoMo moments, Loremaster Blade, and when Bind on Equip started and all the shenanigans with Wych Wemb and Tempeste.
Now that I'm almost done with my second bachelors degree (going on to get a Masters of Education and teach high school Physics) I'm slowly finding time to get back into the game. I played a little bit in late December, started listening to your shows again, and loved how the podcast is still all about great people just enjoying the game in whatever way that makes them happy.
I got bored one day and started listening to some of the older podcast episodes I've missed, and I came across these two funny clips from episode 254 that you may enjoy. I know I certainly got a laugh from them. The first clip introduces a "love is in the air" mount, and the second about the lonely people no one visits in order to get all the love tokens you can in a day and the shock of the auction house price of the new mount. Good day Ctrl Alt Wow crew, hope you are all well?
It was all about the PVP this week! Been having a blast in Ashran, BG’s and world PVP. During the recording last week, I joined an Alliance Nemesis Death squad! Basically we formed a raid and separated into nemesis groups within the raid. We then proceeded to run RIOT and gank anything that moved in Warspear and Taanan - it was great fun! 40 people swooping in on Vol’mar and obliterating EVERYTHING! They didn’t know what hit them!

I have been getting a crazy amount of honour this week, so I have been collecting old PVP sets and weapons for transmog, although I am quickly running out of things to buy! I can easily cap 4000 honour in one Ashran – it’s crazy! I managed to get all my 500 kills of the Undead and now have ‘the Death Stalker’ title. From there I went on to complete the Blood Elf nemesis quest and got the ‘Slayer of Sin’dorei’ title.
I also got the achievement for 5000 honour kills in Draenor (Defender of Draenor) which gave me the monument in the Garrison – which is nice. I also got exalted with Wrynns Vanguard and bought the Breeze Strider, Pale Thorngrazer and Shadowmane Charger mounts. Oh and I got gold capped for the second time! J [epeen alert]
Just a few beginner tips for Ashran.
1. Once in Ashran be patient when it comes to forming a group, sometimes it can take a little while to form a good group. Although you can usually tell quite quick if the group has potential. If they’re arguing and acting like ass hats, then just leave as you’ll just be wasting your time.
2. Get familiar with the map and where things are located (buffs etc.). Also get to know the abbreviations as they will be used all the time.
3. Search for people in group finder (or ask in raid) and group up with people on the same nemesis quest as yourself as you will get credit for their kills also (this can make it considerably quicker).
4. Collect and buff up with ‘Song Flowers’ (15% increase to all stats) you find them around ‘The Dark Woods’ near ‘Brutes Rise’ (you can stock up to 10 a time). If everyone in the raid has the buff up it can make a difference.
5. [The most important] Always stick together otherwise you will get nowhere! Fight together - win together! Fight alone - die alone!

Sae here - I'm afraid I wasn't able to get a voice submission together because I'm trapped in a car with my family for who knows how long, haha. I'm starting to think the universe is working against me ever getting to send one in!
Anyway, my week in WoW was a good one! I've been working on levelling alts, and I'm happy to say I've now got most of my characters into Draenor!
I've only got three characters (minus my Iron toon) that still need to be levelled up to current content. Thankfully, they're all set to head to Outland for the first time, and I'm pretty excited for that - haha I was starting to get a little tired of old world stuff after having done it 15 times recently.
So I've been thinking of seeing if people wanted to get together to watch the Warcraft movie when it comes out, since I see so many groups popping up and I haven't seen any pop up around me.
But I'm not sure how many people live around Albany, NY where I live! If you guys know of anyone who'd like to get together and watch the film, let me know! Maybe we can make a thing of it :D
I'll end here for now - I'm hoping to be able to actually catch the show live this week, and I look forward to seeing you all in game! Also, I figured I'd let Vrishna know that I've been saying 'grats' as I listen to the shows during the week. Sorry I haven't been on the game to do it live :P

While attending the Control Alt WoW live chatroom is always rewarding, winning the Grotesque pet last week made it even better. Thank you so much! I am attaching a picture of my new pet, out in Stonetalon with my hunter.
I have been having a lot of fun in game, as usual. Last week Leeta, and Stone announced an Ironman leveling contest. I thought it would be fun to try, even though I don't expect to win. I am just trying to see how close to the front runners I can get, and hopefully I will still have a living Ironman when it ends.
My first contestant was an Orc Shaman named Cautiouslee. Sadly, Cautiouslee wasn't cautious enough, and got jumped by two Theremore marines. Those guys hit really hard, for their level! My new contestant is Judiciouslee, a Draenei shaman. I really didn't want to run the Orc starting area again so soon, so I changed races. Wish me luck!

Until June I am woking every second Saturday :( and when I have one weekend off I have to catch up with a lot of my real life friends.
Haven't played Warcraft this week at all. My PC has already spiderwebsI believe. Two weeks ago I got into Overwatch beta and had a lot of fun. Some of the guys from our LGBT guild joined as well and we pulled some really good matches.
With limited time this week, Hearthstone was the only Blizzard game I had in my hands right before falling asleep at night. I am Rank 17 in Standard and Wild. Heard Big G struggles a bit in Hearthstone maybe I could give him some tips for good combo decks.
Right... have to put my device down as I am currently watching Eurovision song contest in a bar with some friends and already get moaned at that I am not paying attention.
