Palworld 1.0
On Friday, I jumped right back into our world. I need to get to the next level. My biggest question was and I know I could look it up on the Internet, but I like to experience it and figured out my cell was whether I would get my when I would get my four basis because you know I’ve been using one base as my main base and my original base that I have I’m going to get rid of it because it’s it’s just too crowded and doesn’t work out the new base that I made by the volcano crater is perfect. It’s open.
It’s it’s easy to maneuver around and I put double staircases so it was just it was absolutely Great but you know I just like it would be nice to have four bases that I could move one around anytime I need it to and then just destroy it. Oh one of the things I found out on the Internet. I think it was a YouTube video is that there’s a trick you can do where you enclose your storage in a locked room and this will make the pals automatically transport the Matt whatever they gather into that chest without having to go to it so it saves them some room so I spent some time building walls around my 12 on two of my bases right now. I just have the guild chest the guild storage and that seems to be working. There’s 54 slots in it and it and when I think it’s full lights has too much random stuff in it I take it out and that’s just for right now because you know I am doing most of my stuff on the volcano one but I have to keep going back to my main one because I have just random storage everywhere now one of these days. I am going to organize that storage a little bit better and of course that’s gonna probably happen when I move everything over so that really worked out well building a little room. I built the room around the one that I have out in the desert where the I’m getting all the extra oil that I’m gonna need and you know what I really have a lot and it also has hardwood so I’m getting hardwood and some rocks from that area and you know it’s it’s one of my base. It’s just an a resource base so I haven’t even put anything for cooking or anything out there because what I’m doing is when I check on it I checked the food and I put more food in it to keep to keep them fed and it has one of those alpha thing or things to keep them from going insane and it works out really Well. Now the next level I have to get up I need to make this greater furnace, big gigantic furnace and that for that I need a lot of plastic deal but what I’m gonna really need is Carl might and hexagonal quartz and I did search the Internet and figure out that I need to get to Fabe Island. You know the challenge of this game is that everything is hidden until you discover it so you have to kind of work with where you are and where you think you should be and I try not to look up too much cause I don’t want to get too many spoilers. Well I made a big mistake and I ended up going in the wrong direction. I know cause I’m skimming I don’t wanna look at the map and it said go south for this particular island and I would do south but it turns out that I needed to go and this is spoilers. I need to go south west so I spent the day riding out to an island I couldn’t get to cause I was up in the air and then I did find a smaller island that was interesting and I got some flight travel and stuff, but I ended up not getting to fade beak on Friday. After taking a quick break, I got on Aprillian because I wanted to get her up to Level so that we could do the next tower to gather and she had to move along in that storyline as well and it was one of the things that I’ve been doing with the basis and this turned out to be a really good idea. Is that because Aprillian hasn’t been going out to where I am you know where she hasn’t been doing the discoveries that April Pvd has been doing, but when I put a base father out, she can then make use of the nearest portal or flight thing and she’s able to get to it and so she was able to do all the the rest of the steps for the PF ID tower she went to the well I don’t wanna spoil it, but she was able to move along a little bit and I have to say for anyone watching the videos. I’m sorry about the quality. I try to pay attention when I’m recording and sometimes I’m just caught up in the moment and it means that I don’t get the best quality that I can’t get, but I was able to get her to move the story along she did the things that she needed to do to get to the next quest so that she and April Pvd were in the same spot. so this is the beauty of playing on a dedicated server on my computer and multi boxing so after getting Aprillian to where she could explore the police place I then logged her off of the VR headset and then logged April Pvd, and now I wanted Pvd to go in first because she was higher and so she could handle any big damage that might happen so I had her run around solve the puzzle. Try not to do spoilers and then get all the goodies that she could get and then I had April Aprillian do the same thing and so they got caught up and that was really great. You know I spent a lot of time online on NVR doing this yesterday the day before this on Friday when I finished out last week episode, I didn’t mention that I had been in the game for five hours and then for Friday afternoon after I did all the recording I was in for another three hours and I just love it. I’m so lucky that I get to do this. and even though it was silly, I did Aprillian part while I was looking at the flatscreen what I should’ve done, which would’ve been better was to take the her vision and make it full screen on on the stream but instead, I just got rid of that one and then just ran her through while looking at the flatscreen TV our flatscreen computer, which was just crazy but it worked and I got her to get all the things that she needed to do so that she could then continue the quest.
Saturday
Did my workout NVR like two hours of just work pushing my body as far as I can trying to do what I can to keep future April in shape. Of course I started Saturday as usual with a workout in VR. I really love the flexibility that I have that I can just get up in the morning and start my workout without having to go to the gym first it was really good of course I start out with an HIIT out. I always think that that’s gonna kickstart my metabolism and I’m wearing a weighted vest and wrist weight and it was just great and then I do some weight training and some boxing of course and then, of course there is my 35 minutes on the elliptical although I think I want a little bit farther this time cause I was doing a challenge and yeah, it felt really good and I’m really proud of myself for sticking to my schedule for future April it’s very important to stay healthy the real cool part was that there is a challenge on the Holofit the one that I do the elliptical on and the reward is a Holofit school spirit, jacket, and hat now if you do a certain amount for one person to get the hat, it was 6.2 miles in and a week which I knocked that out of the part park as it were and then there was a community challenge included and we managed to get that we’re working on that as well to get the jacket so we’ll see what happens.
Then something unusual happened for me on Saturday I was expecting company. A friend of mine came over to spend the evening with me and the night and so I spent the rest of Saturday cleaning up. I shampooed the carpet gave Maya bath and straightened everything up and also I gave Maja her simpatico trio and if you’ve ever tried to feed a dog a pill, you’ll understand that this was such a wonderful triumph because it didn’t take as long as I thought it would so believe it or not I did not play any VR on Saturday but Sunday and also Saturday night we we had a Buffy marathon she hadn’t seen. She wanted to see the buffy musical, which I had, I have the whole thing on DVD so we watched the buffy musical. It is very good. I really really love that and but of course if you watch the musical, you have to watch the next episode Tabula Rosa and then we also watch the family one because we’re both Tara fans.
Sunday
I got right back into it and I took Aprillian into the PFID tower. I did have to run up Pullen all the way there because she didn’t have the flight path and along the way her Nightwing got attacked so she ended up having to go on foot but they both got into the tower and it was magnificent. Of course I do the thing that I do every time I’m doing boxing. The first thing I do is I run Aprillian over to a corner real quick and try to face her so she can see the action and then I have her pull out her pet. The thing I got from the Internet was that this one is you need a water-based pet so she brought out a servant and then April Pvd went to work with her assault weapon and her water base interesting enough April Pvd ended up going through almost I mean all of our pets except for her night wing and yeah, it was. It was a challenging battle. I wasn’t sure if we were gonna be able to win because this was our first time going in there. Aprillian was only 45 but April Pvd was 59 I think or 58 but we did it, and it was very satisfying to win and neither one of them died, which was excellent. while Oprah Pvd has the quest to get to the next tower and has done all the in-between quest, my feelings was that Aprillian didn’t need to do all that since she can just go along with April Pvd so I was just trying to get her to the tower and since she has the Nightwing she just flew over it did take some getting too particular tower is way up on a hill and I think if she had done all the quest she would’ve gotten there. I know April Pvd got there without having to do this and I just I don’t know. I just wanted to get up there so after almost 40 minutes of at at least a half an hour trying to climb up this hill. It was crazy but I did it and I got her to the next tower so my plans are to just go there with April Pvd and have her fight the same way because she doesn’t need I’m already going through all the quest line by myself. This is good enough and it’s challenging still to try to get someone leveled up without going through the quest line and I’m having fun plus she’s good to bring in when I’m trying to build something and I’ve done that several times when you know April Pvd right now is trying to expand her base so she needs to make this. She only made the gigantic furnace and but now she needs to make the next level sphere assembly line I’m wondering do I need to just get rid of my other sphere assembly line cause that is in the same area taking up space I guess you only need one and you need the one that can be the best so that might be my next thing but in order to make that she needed hexa light Angus in order to get the hex she has to get the chromite and hexagonal courts. I don’t wanna get that. She has to get the beak island but let’s see what happens. I’m having fun. then I hopped back on April Pvd, and after checking out to make sure all of the bases were fed I decided to try my luck again at Faye Beek Island now I have a better idea of where it’s located and I head out that way. I ended up playing for four hours on Sunday evening and I got so much done. I got I tore down the old base got a new base got tore out that base and then I figured out and found how to get chromite and I built that spear thing and I am ready to die right back in.
Monday
Workout
Was to check out the requirements for the next level so I can get to the four basis and it turns out that I have to do a large electric egg incubator and this requires a lot of things I don’t have yet such as the civilization course and so and it also I can get it because it’s level 39 but it’s gonna take me some time and I have a lot to work on so I decided to just have fun and go exploring and oh you know of course get some more chromite cause I’m gonna need those and I also wanted to try out one of the new blueprints I got access to for leveling up, which was a large chest. but first I decided to go to terraria that dungeon that’s a crossover from the terraria game and I actually saw that game on Steam and it’s a flat it’s a flatscreen game and it’s a top down game but it’s a platform so it’s interesting how they recreated it in in Palworld, but I needed to go there because the main weapon that I’m using is the terraria blade and it is so powerful but it needs repairs as I use it so the thing about it is I like it because it doesn’t require any weaponry or any that’s what I meant to say doesn’t require any ammo so it just goes and goes, but it doesn’t need repair so I did hop into that dungeon, and I got a whole bunch of hallowed bars. I did decide to capture a few pals while I was in the dungeon and one of the things that you can do that’s really cool. Is that if you drop one of your pets and then capture a new pack if you have a empty slot the next pet that you captured will then be a party of party so I dropped a pet and then that was a lower level pet and then I picked up one of the eyeballs and I went after the boss with the eyeball active and that worked out really well. then I decided to make the chest, but of course I did have to go and get some chromite and then I made it.
Tuesday
What are the things that I do with being single sober and living small and being a senior is that I have a routine that I stick to no matter what you know on Monday Thursday and Saturday I work out so the nicest thing about Tuesday and Wednesdays I have two days in a row where I don’t have to get up and do the two hour workout instead I still get up and you ciao you know, brush my teeth and stuff and then I walk my dog and then we have breakfast and then I get to play well. OK well first this morning I caught up on my notes from playing the past few days but once I got all that done I was able to jump in and I did a bunch of really cool stuff there’s so much to this game first of all I was looking through my pets and I found a really cool pet an Astro gun and I really liked it back and it but it needed a harness and one of the things I’m doing I think I mentioned this before is that I’m sharing my technology so I brought an Aprillian. I ran around and got the mats so that Aprillian could learn the harness and make one for me and then I oh I also had to repair my instrument. I got that serves as both the ax and a pickax and one of the things about the Atta is that you can mine while you’re riding it and it’s so cool but then I saw a few things down the list that I’m gonna have to make including that incubator and it requires that I have civilization course and I kinda know I do a little bit of googling, I don’t do a whole lot cause I don’t wanna be spoiled, but one of the things that it said I could get civilization course was from of course the expedition, but I gotta move down the list a little bit more, but I could also get it from doing these raids because I have all these tokens that I can make these passes and I have the summoning raid on the top floor of my main base and so I went. I went to it. I summoned well I went. I summoned it to the raid place because I’m smart.
I’m not gonna summon it to my base and I was amazed. It is fantastic. The first thing you have to do when you get to it as you pull out pets and put it in the base they are like you know like they like you’re having a regular base you can pull in 15 pets and then you know you still have your party pets which I didn’t realize this when I was preparing for it. I actually got my five I picked five high-level pets and I enhance them as far as I could so I went in and I was it took some time. I had a few of the pets that I pulled out for the bass pet died, but in the end, using my overpowered terraria blade, I actually took down the boss and got my first civilization core. I didn’t go back in and try it on the next level which was 45 and I got my butt handed to me, but that’s because I really need to level up my pets. I get a pet and I don’t really work on leveling them so you know I got it. I need to rotate them within and I also need to compress them so that’s another thing. I’m gonna be spending some time in, but it was fun to learn that much that part and you know I’m really getting to get the hang of this and I’m loving it and I’m sorry, No Man’s Sky but I of course I also went around to all my different bases and checked on it to make sure everybody had food. The one thing that happened was at the second time I went in this this guy this raid boss was level 35 April Pvd is level 61 so when I went in and I was able to take that one out, I thought OK let me make the level 45 one I have that token and I also have another token that’s epic that I got from terraria and so I did the 45 but I have a whole bunch of those that I can make for the level 35 so let me make this one I’ll go in and I’ll try it and see what happens and yeah, it wiped me completely out. It wiped all my pets out. It wiped all the pets I had, but I didn’t realize that I could actually go back into my pet box and pull out more pets. I know that I might’ve taken it down because you know once a couple of pets were dying then it just had more time to focus on me and my pet so that’s something I may try the next time but I’m definitely gonna go and do the 35 level 35 boss a few more times because I have so many of those tokens to do that one need to do that and have fun with that so I’m actually going back in in a few more minutes so we’ll see what happens.
Wednesday
I’m having one really annoying issue and that I can no longer access my dedicated server on my gaming PC from my MacBook Pro. It’s only an issue when I wanna be able to watch TV relax and do some chores around my base without putting my headset on. at one point I was able to access the dedicated server on my PC from my Mac version, but then it stopped working. It was frustrating because I had given April that’s the name of the character on the Mac, the pals that enriched egg claiming. I was using her to hatch my eggs and stuff. But I can access the server. I pay $14 a month that I have been playing with Grand Nagus and Big G. At first, I was going to see if I could move the files on my PC to that server and then just play on that but that became too complicated.
In the game on my PC, which is basically my regular game April Pvd reached 62 and like I said, I’m ready to get my fourth base. I just had to fight the boss Victor & Shadowbeak at the Pal Genetic Research. I had already gotten Aprillian there by flying her. April Pvd got them by doing the quest line and so I decided to go ahead and give it a try after the last one didn’t work out. So I leveled some pets that were good fighters I thought for that fight. The way I dual box of course, is having Aprillian on the flatscreen and April Pvd in VR since that one fight didn’t go well I realized I needed a stronger weapon so I spent some time making the Gatlin gun. But the second time I ran out of ammunition and it timed out. The third time I made almost 3000 units of bullets. I took the boss down with 10 seconds to spare. I finished off the day upgrading my planting ability with the beautiful flowers. I had to go out and get these dragons to drop the flowers and then I ended up breeding them so that I could get more flowers to actually create the flower bed, which is gonna help them plant better.
Thursday
With a workout in VR that’s my thing. It was great and while I’m working out as usual, I get ideas so you know my big thing right now and I think I’ve probably mentioned it is that I wanna be able to play on my MacBook Pro and play on a server so I got this idea while I was working out what if I use the server that I’m renting for $14 OK well my biggest problem with that has always been. I don’t want to mess up the game that Grand Nagus and Big G are playing with me. Well I got the idea that I could put the pets that we have. That’s the biggest concern when you start running any server the pets start working and if you aren’t watching them, they can end up dying or going crazy or getting hurt so I had already created one of those boxes where you could store pets and and all the Gail members could have access at the first base and I went in and did that on a second base and put the pets away. It turns out that it’s a universal box that both that both bases share kind of like the guild bank so I put all the pets at the main base on one page and all the pets at the second base on the second page and then I logged in on a character. I hadn’t joined the guild and NVR and then had April on the MacBook Pro and that was fun. You know I’ve started over many times on World of Warcraft so starting over on this game, isn’t that different? I will probably go back to my old server eventually but right now I am leveling up and it happens to be Aprillian account who had join the girl and so she went in VR a more comfortable I can move around better so she went in. She leveled up she got some things and then I logged into April on the MacBook Pro and she joined Aprillian Guild and Aprillian kept coming back to feeding her, and then I probably went and went to a place where closer to New Settlement and made a base and then had a really enjoying her and I did the same thing I do on my main save which is she Aprillian purchase some technology stuff but I mean April the lower level one purchased some things that April brilliant hadn’t purchased so it worked out really well and I had a lot of fun and of course I can use the knowledge that I have now to make it faster and better and yeah I got Aprillian up too. I think 13. I went into some dungeons. I got some pets. I got some food. I leveled the base up. I’ve actually got the base up to the point where I can get a second base and that’s gonna be fun too because I realized on my other saves that once I put a base down that gives a jumping point for the non-VR character to go to in a quicker way so say I want to get to a tower I can just save that that pow box put it down and then she can automatically go there and that’s what I’m gonna do. I’m gonna level the Mac Pro backward Pro one up with the other account by taking her into dungeons and stuff. that’s what I thought I would do but then I realized I still have a level 25 on that same server even though that one is in Grand Nagus the guild that Grand Nagus and I started she could still run them through dungeon so that’s what I’m gonna try later on today and yeah, I’m having fun and I still have not played No Man’s Sky at all. I have. I’m gonna have to get Intuit soon before the expedition is over maybe I don’t know I just I just really like power I like what I’m doing in there and I like the building and I love the immersion even though I’m in third person it’s still beautiful and yeah, that’s what I’ve done this past week and I will see you next week.
