Juuno and Pixie Girl!
Hiya Aprillian, Leeta, Rougeslayer, Tedra & all of our awesome Wow family :)
What have I been up too this past week, Pontis has been keeping me busy! Lot's & lots of fun, Timeless Isles & more Timeless Isles. Grand Nagus & Pontis both have been updating me on addon's, so been working on the Lost Treasures, it's a pain but fun. A lot of flying here and there, oh I missed that one so back I go. Then decided might as well attack a few elites along the way, work on two ach., instead of just one. And Pontis helped me put Mr. Ask Robot on the game, oh wow so much easier! Really like it does everything reforge, gems & enchants all with out having to jump around. Also have livestock now and really like that one too, mounts & pets I haven't seen since I can't remember when!
Today Rain joined us for some good old fashion killing, my lock Pixie, Rain's mage & Pontis's druid. Just sayin Pontis is a much better healing as a priest lol But we did okay they got their quests done and that's all that counts. Mata joined us in mumble and everyone got too say hi to Junno, nope not on the game but she called so I put her on speaker :) She also put out a new Corpse Run Radio, she'll be putting them out now only not as often as before. After all it is summer and lots for her to do but still even one a month is better then none right?
Anyway that's it for me, I've included a picture of Pontis and I and named it Dead Bodies lol Pontis healing Phenelope killing.
Hugs & Kisses
Pixie & Junno

P.S. Keep the pictures coming Aprillian, love the new hair style :)

Greetings CAW sweeties,I am writing this email in hopes of joining your merry band. I have only been playing since the middle of cata but have come a long way pretty much on my own and looking to expand my sociality in the game, this is a great community and I want to be a part. I have six level 90's and hoping to add 1 or 2 more with C.O.D., so here s my submission as per the rules. I hope I can soon be rubbing shoulders with the fun bunch. I've created a toon on your server, Vandalynn Undead Warlock and leveled her to 20 so far and thinking of transferring my dk there for pvp. I listen to 20-30 podcasts a week so I am not exclusive to your show but it is one of my "must hear immediately shows", you all seem to be having so much fun together it puts me in a good mood everytime.
P.S. Wanna give a special shout out to Tedrah because I feel she doesn't get enough of them :).
I have season 6 of True Blood, pizza delivered, and the weekend. I needed this!!
Hail and well-met, Ladies of CAW!
Here we are, not so long between missives, but I felt compelled to write and share some thoughts with you. I want you to be forewarned, I will be getting up on my box and lecturing some with this note!
That said, here’s what I have to share:
This last week, I’ve noticed a behavior out on the Timeless Isle. When there’s a cloth-wearing adventurer out there, especially if they’re a Priest or Healer, they probably could use a hand, at the very least. If they don’t, you’ll figure it out pretty quick and can move along.
But, if you see a Clothie who has pulled agro on a 92 Elite mob… If you are a Plate wearer and you don’t run in and pull agro back, first, you should be ashamed. Second, I’ll be sending someone to pull your Tank or Tough-guy card. If you’re a Mail wearer, especially if you’re a Hunter, if you aren’t plying your DPS trade, then someone needs to pull your DPS card. If a Clothie is kiting around a 92 Elite mob, you better not standing around with your hands in your pockets or twiddling your thumbs. If you’re not a powerhouse adventurer, then you better be pouring on the healing or whatever DPS you have.
Speaking as a Discipline Priest, whose managed to shame plate wearers by being able to pull agro off of them with a 92 Elite mob, don’t let me run around in circles kiting this mob. Get in there and take him back, or DPS the daylights out of them!
And don’t be the lout who pulls the mob behind this one, because that’s the one you really wanted…you should be named and shamed, publicly, repeatedly!
*sigh* My apologies for sounding so gruff, my guildmates. But seriously, if there’s someone out there who might need some help, Alliance or Horde, we should give the help we have to lend. We know better than to just be jerks.
My thanks to you for letting me share my thoughts.

Wow, I can't believe it's been nearly seven months since my last email.
Let's just say 2014 didn't start out quite the way I hoped it would. A
pretty nasty infection left me in a hospital bed from early February to mid
April and I was finally able to start getting my life back on track in May.
Oh well enough of the depressing real life stuff, lets talk some gaming. On
the WoW front I'm still working on the Seat of Knowledge
going to have to make an offering/sacrifice to the RNG gods if I ever want
to get this one done. Thanks to the Warlords of Draenor pre-purchase I'm up
also used the included character boost to max out my lowbie engineer toon
My Hearthstone skills have been slowly improving, but honestly I was mostly
playing to get enough wins to unlock the decks and of course earn a shiny
for me to get used to how differently Hearthstone plays. I've been playing
a lot of Diablo 3 on my PS3 and I can't wait for Reaper of Souls
hit the consoles in August. Last week I was given an invite to the Heroes
played a MOBA style game before, I'm not sure what to think about it. Right
clicking to move is just so... unnatural.
OK that's enough rambling from me for one email. I'll catch y'all in Azeroth
P.S. Don't forget it's Summer Sale time over at Steam
excellent games for next to nothing.

Hello Aprillian, Leeta, Rogueslayer and Tedrah,
Sometimes when I WoW I like to set myself little challenges or goals and during last week’s recording of your podcast I decided to jump on my undead mage Ochay to see if I could reach exalted reputation with The Black Prince before the CAW show was over. When the show started, I was still only honored and had roughly 2,000 reputation points to go until I would reach revered. I headed off to my favorite spot in the Thunder Isle and began to kill mobs as I listened from the chat room. I worked pretty hard and was killing and looting continuously. I didn’t think I was going to make it but in the end I got there just as Grand Nagus was finishing up his segment. I was using the in game stop watch and calculated I earned approximately 23,000 reputation points in just under 2 hours. I’d like to point out that this was before the Gaze of the Black Prince buff which went live on the 17th June. When I first heard about the buff I wasn’t sure I would like it, as I thought it would make the quest chain too easy, but after it was implemented I found there was still a challenge and even with the bonus to reputation and quest item drop rates, there’s still a tonne of work to do.
The breakdown of my family’s cloak completion progress so far is Clogalis 100%, Tennish 50%, Ochay and Cloggie 33%, , Ragulfa 13%, Igohaerias and Zarithia 7%, Belirra and Peanut both yet to start.
This week, Ochay, Tennish and Cloggie have all earned exalted reputation with the Black Prince. Just a tip for those on the quest chain; there are 3 quests throughout that refer to reputation, this being Honored (Trial of the Black Prince), Revered (The Prince’s Pursuit) and Exalted (I Need A Champion). However, you don’t need to wait until you’re on each specific quest so I would suggest while the Gaze of the Black Prince buff is active, which will increase your reputation gained with the Black Prince by 100%, go grind the reputation all the way to exalted as soon as you have completed the starter quests and solo scenarios which grants you access to the Thunder Isle. Then later as you progress through the quest chain you can turn the reputation specific quests in as soon as you pick them up.
Tennish had a pretty good run this week and has obtained 14/20 Secrets from LFR so he’ll be finished with the “Secrets of the First Empire” quest next week. He was in the Siege of Orgrimmar raid recently and while we were waiting for a second tank to join us someone obviously thought we were all too thin and proceeded to place banquets in a full circle around the perimeter of the Fallen Protectors area (screen shot attached). He’s my Holy Priest and has been enjoying the short queue times in LFR. Being Holy he has the spell Holy Word: Sanctuary which blesses the ground with Holy Light healing all those who stand within it. As simple as this sounds, it does seem that most people prefer to stand in the poop and move out of the Holy Word: Sanctuary when I place it. What was that old saying my Grandpa used to say? “You can lead a raid to Holy Word: Sanctuary, but you can’t make them stand in it.”
Ochay was feeling a little bored while waiting for his raid queues to pop and has since discovered there are 17 critters in the Valley of Strength eagerly waiting to be polymorphed into cute little penguins (screen shot attached).
Clogalis has earned the achievement Killing Time, which is to kill a truck load of different mobs on the timeless isle. The last one I needed was the most difficult, an Eroded Cliffdweller. They’re the big 92 elite rock elementals that path between the cliffs. I died on the first attempt because they do a stomp which hurts a lot if you’re in melee range so I danced a bit more on the second go and managed to kill it. He has been upgrading his gear via valor points and his average ilevel is now 559 with a possible 11 individual upgrades still available when I have enough valor.
Oh! I almost forgot. I went to Sholazar Basin a few days ago and bought the egg from The Oracle vendor for a chance on the Reins of the Green Proto Drake to hatch. I estimate that during the Wrath of the Lich King expansion I had probably bought enough eggs to feed the Lich King’s army but I never found a drake inside. I realized my egg had hatched and was ready to be opened but I didn’t want to open it alone. It’s more fun when you include people to share your excitement. So I waited for Leeta to return from makinganother coffee. When she got back I told her she’ll be my lucky charm and proceeded to open my egg. OMG! I couldn’t believe it, I got the Green Proto Drake! This brings my total mounts to 140. Thank you Lucky Leeta! J
That’s pretty much been my week so I’ll leave it here and see you all in game.

Hello Ctrlaltwow Crew
It has never happened that I write to you 2 weeks in a row but I come bearing a gift.
I won the top 25 in Guild activity competition we had last week in the game. I won an Armored Bloodwing and I thank Donnie for the gift. I already have this mount so I thought I would give it to you Ladies to give away.
You might be able to have a competition of your own and get somebody to make you a new Email bumper.
Anyway I love the new line up. You Ladies are awesome. Have a great week.
Ps I must thank Donnie for letting me give away my prize.
Shout Out to Realm Main
For almost two years, the Realm Maintenance podcast has been dedicated to promoting WoW podcasts big and small, and I'd like to thank you for being as welcoming and cooperative as you have been since Episode 1!
Episode 100 of Realm Maintenance will be posted on July 1st, and includes excerpts of recent interviews with over 50 podcasters and podcastees.
How did these podcasters get started? Why do people listen? What was everyone's first podcast? These questions and more will be highlighted, and I would greatly appreciate it if you are able to include the attatched promo for the show in any episodes posted prior to July 1st.
Thank you again!
