Ctrl Alt WoW Episode 630 - No Classic DMF Yet
Aprillian, Constraxx, Vrishna, Grand Nagus and guest hosts discuss another week of playing World of Warcraft, Blizzard's greatest MMORPG. The show features audio segments and email submissions from our lovely listeners. Guild Round up from Constraxx.
If you want to join the conversations on the show, we have a live chatroom with in-game giveaways moderated by chatroom-guru Constraxx. We record Live on our Twitch.tv page twitch.tv/ctrlaltwowpodcast
We also have an ongoing contest. Send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org telling us how you play WoW, either as an altoholic or dealing with it in your family life to being placed in a drawing for a WoW Pet or an Authenticator.
Write somewhere in email that you would like to be considered for a one month of Wow in honor of Vrishna.
This week in WoW:
Harvest Festival has started.
No DMF in Classic until a later release phase.
Harvest Festival starts on tuesday (not sure why it’s different then Classic)
Arena Skirmish Bonus Event starts.
DMF is open until saturday.
What We've Been Doing:
Key art for BlizzCon released.
Horde horse and Alliance wolf.
New Desirée, after 8 long months to finish the last 2 zones, here is my zandalari priest.
Litterally NO game time!
Forsaken Warlock: Level 20; did the class quest to get the Succubus and the first soul pouch.
Forsaken Rogue: Level 18; did the first part of the Lock Picking quest chain and skilled the profession to 80. The second part, going to Ambermill in Silverpine Forrest is still to high to do.
Troll Hunter: Level 13; learned to tame a pet and the abilities that come with it. The first pet, a boar, is now best friend with her. Loyalty levels are a thing.
Troll Shaman: Level 12; didn’t get much gameplay this week, since i would like her to get better gear and i feel that when the other toons get better gear for her, she’s gonna continue her adventures.
Orc Warrior: Level 7; just started to skill Blacksmithing to support the other toons with, among other things, weapon buff items, grinding stones and weight stones.
Forsaken Mage: Level 6; started skilling Enchanting by disenchanting all the useless greens.
Tauren Druid: Level 1; the only toon not played yet, no rush though. Herbalism and Alchemy will be his traits.
Hope you have a great week and enjoy this week's audio and Blast from the Past. We're back to episode 385. Enjoy!
Each week GrandNagus takes a closer look at some of the most useful World of Warcraft addons out there.
What's Training? is an addon for World of Warcraft Classic that adds a list of available trainer spells to the spell book, so you can easily know when to seek a class trainer out. Spells you already know are moved to the bottom. Mousing over a spell will show you its tooltip, with the cost to train attached to the bottom. Mousing over a category header will show you the total cost of training of spells in that section.
If you have Class Trainer Plus installed, What's Training will show Ignored spells at the bottom.
Class Trainer Plus is an addon for World of Warcraft Classic that upgrades the Class Trainer interface, adding the abiliy to ignore, search, and train all.
You can ignore any spell offered by your class or pet trainer by right-clicking and checking the "Ignore" option. You can then hide them from view like the other available filters. Ignoring does not work at profession trainers.
Easily find spells to ignore by using the search box. Searching also works at profession trainers.
When the Shift key is held, the Train button will allow all available, non-ignored spells to be trained at one time.
