Hello Darlings! Aprillian, Ashayo, Vrishna and....She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed's El Jeppy! And fellow listeners!!! Hello! I hope everyone is doing GREAT!
SO....ummmm....I've been out of town... we went to the University of Southern Utah (they have a REALLY fabulous Shakespeare Festival there, including a replica of the Globe!) and we watched Romeo and Juliet and Midsummer's Night Dream.
They were tres fabulous! So...no gaming for me over the past few days and now...I am le tired... and I didn't get an audio done for Ctrl Alt Wow either! <=( I'm awwweeeeeeee! I guess that means that Aprillian will just HAVE to read this...and pretend to be ME while she does...hehehe....RIGHT?!? I hope so!!! *squeeeeeeeeeeeeee!* (crossing fingers!)
Vrishna...embrace the bunny...do not kill them...they look up to you soooo much. ;)
Anywho, I'm hoping to get some gaming done SOON! I have to do some cooking though for All Things Edible... you guys have heard of that podcast, right? Gamers/Cooks, it's crazy! I get to be on there with them in two weeks...hehe. I would LOVE to hear Aprillian on there one of these days, by the way! That'd be epic!
Okay, enough rambling...I'm going off to bed now... hehehe... love you guys!!! AND Aprillian! Big hugs and kisses *muah*
For the Alliance, For the Horde, and for Aprillian being so darn cute all the time! hehehehe
Juuno, of Earthen Ring, Nevikhoof and Korialstraszzzzzzzz.....

p.s. I got to be on Liquid Wow a while back...I told Christie how much I love love love Ctrl Alt Wow...hehehe...

What We've Been Doing:

Aprillian

Quint Pups all have different levels of heirlooms Prilego has none, AprilOfficer has head, shoulder & chest, Bestal has back & shoulders, Apree has shoulders only, Westal has head only. I guess I could swap back and forth but that would be too much work.
Logged on to Epril in Orgrimar near the JC trainer and abandoned the nightstone quest per Ashayo
Thu afternoon. Spending 15 to 20 mins when I can to advance the pups. Not using anything to help is making it harder. Have to check all screens to make sure they are on follow. Horse quest killed a couple when lead took off.

Took my RAF 29 and 25 into Stockade and xp was too low, now trying Gnomeragan.
Got email on Kapril, GM on Nevikhoof

Took Nevahoof to Wetlands to level skinning. It went very quickly. I used a guide:
http://www.wow-professions.com/wowguides/wow-skinning-guide.html

Aprillian & Vrishna

Vrishna's pally Treesa is running with 3 of Aprillian's toons, including an RAF pair. We ran the higher Azure Watch Island

Looking for bounty in Moog's ogre, couldn't find it, watched a Belf
Stranglethorn Vale Nessingwary quest. Delishas Pries, Darshi Druid, Nevahoof Pally with Vrishan's Treesa Pall. Very frustrating can't skin, can do some mining, but no herb
Quest autocompleting is so cool

Running 3 toons with Vrishna 1 getting great xp and leveling mining.
Caught up with Mel & Liz Tailor and tried the Culling of Strathholme. Let's just call it the Noobs leading the Noobs

Vrishna

Professional Journeyman to Professional expert from one day to the next ! Stranglethorn Vale has way too much ore & herb ! Wait, what am I saying

Macros are NOT the same for Pallys as they are for ranged toons ! Got it to work, thanks to Aprillian.

Ashayo

Asheal has been making all her Dreamcloth every week, but not sure what to do with it. Not running the new content, so don't have access to new patterns/materials. Am I wasting my time? 36 slot bag from [filling the moonwell]

Ashayo - H Lost City with Sol/Ostira/Blank/Expiry alts
Finaly got [Death from Above]
Got 125 marks for Filling the Moonwell - somehow Asheal only had 124
Off hand, trinket, pet
Legacy of Leyara - one step closer to meta

Ashield - dinged 85 in Stonecore with Caoboi, Iceprayer and Mollyshot
Random heroic - Lost City ; not hard at all
Then got Stonecore - wiped on 1st trash and tank dropped because healer (me) had crap gear
Next day got Shadowfang Keep and completed without trouble!
Then got H Halls of Origination - tank couldn't keep aggro off a DK melee, dropped after wipe on 1st boss

Shaman - dinged 50 and 51 in a pug Strat run. Doing crap dps compared to others (180 compared to tank doing 500 and druid 350)

Bit the Bullet

Well I was once in the CtrlAltWow guild.
It was brief.
Not sure if you remember. I waited a few days for someone to come online to invite me.
Then realised you are an alliance guild.
I am back. Not sure of the frequency I will be on, but I rolled a worgen for a change.
I was happily running round last night and saw Mata who had just rolled a new worgen.
I did a slash wave and went off on my own way.
Anyway, I was thinking a shift to the bright side might be fun for a while. When I am next in-game I will ask for an invite.
Although I have multiple toons, I only run one account. Please don't hold it against me.
Yours
Manbone

p.s. Misscryt. A rogue of course.

Attempt # 2

Well our last attempt at sending in an audio submission didn't work. Here's our second try at it, hopefully we can redeem ourselves!

WOW & CLAN OF DARKNESS

Hi Aprillian, Ashayo, Vrishna and Jeppy
My in game name is Dazaroe and I used to play the game a lot but real life got in the way .
Pesky thing real life (real life name = Brian).
Then … I got an offer from Blizzard I couldn’t refuse And I accepted it.
I tried post cataclysm WOW and am keen to play again.
To step back a little I have been friends with two of your guildies for a long time on the Alliance side. Mel and Ericke. They were very excited to see me back in game and thought I should join the guild since the relaxed style of play matches mine.
They explained the rules to join the guild and got me to listen to a podcast. To be honest I was totally confused but in a nice way. The feeling I have is that joined a wonderful conversation but about ½ way through . Mel and Ericke have been helping me understand what is going on but I think it will take many long conversations to catch up. (That is what we enjoy doing together so it will be fun) . I see you have a large back catalogue of casts so I might find out “What are Frosties?” eventually (unless you mean the pet?)
On this realm I have a level 15 Shaman who is ready to join in the fun as soon as I can
So - Back to the reason for this email.
I would love to join the guild if possible and meet the friendly folk of Clan of Darkness.
Who knows – I meet even get Mel and Ericke to venture back to the alliance and dabble in adventures over on Nevikhoof/Winterhoof realm as well
Thanks for your time & consideration, Dazaroe (Brian)

Bangobingo Update #4 and Contest submission

Hey CAW/COD Crew,
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the ever changing weather as tornado season rolls into hurricane season. I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know what I have been up to in game and as always pose a question.

The past couple weeks have been pretty good as I have been able to log in to do my firelands dailies on my Warrior. I am to the point now where I have one more vendor to unlock before I can finally take a break from those quests. I like the gated content but I also enjoyed the Isle of Quel’Danas (sp) model where the server as a whole was working toward the goal. It allowed me to contribute when I could but didn’t feel like I was behind if I missed a day of dailies along the way.

On the alt front, I have been leveling my mage, Readytogogo, up to level 40. Just a couple more levels until I can finally learn the portals to help out my guildies with easy travel during world events. I always appreciated having a friend who was a mage, but since he left the game I never got to repay the favor. Hopefully, I can pay his kindness forward with this toon to my fellow guildies on earthern ring.

Additionally, I have begun to level my goblin rogue, Tiptop, and am currently sitting in the early 20’s. My main on my other server is an alliance rogue, Derkdiggler, and I am really enjoying the leveling process in my subtlety build. I know it’s not the ideal build for leveling, but it is just so much fun to play, especially in PvP. My goal is to deck this toon out in resilience gear as I have never taken PvP seriously on any of my other toons.

As I have been leveling my low level toons again it did make me think of a question as I reflected on my time spend in game over the past few years. As a new player I typically was very one dimensional in questing as I would get a quest, complete it, then immediately return to turn it in before taking another quest. However, I soon began to realize it was much faster leveling to stack my quests and complete them all at the same time before turning them all in. this small lesson in prioritization and economy of effort has transcended the game and spilled into my home and professional lives. I find myself “quest stacking” when running errands or while accomplishing tasks for work. My question is are there any aspects of the game that you have taken outside of the game into your real life?

Can’t wait to hear you discussion on the topic and look forward to the next meeting in game.
Take care!

Update for Iceflow and Caoboi

Hey JAVA!,

Iceflow and Caoboi here to let you all know what we've been up to. Phew! We've seen to have renewed an intense relationship with WoW again. We log in almost every day and play a variety of characters.

Iceprayer and Kabooey ran Stonecore with Ashayo and Molly and it was a dream come true! Ashayo even hit 85 on the last boss! I'm sure he would have already talked about it but I couldn't let him take my content too!

Iceprayer has a high enough iLevel to get into Cata heroics so I've been cutting my teeth in there. I'm still working my way through Uldum questing and making tons of cash. I have a weird OCD thing of leveling through a zone and then taking all the cloth that I've received while I've been questing in that zone and then level my tailoring. Don't ask why I do the things I do. I couldn't even tell you! I have no idea why I like playing a shadow priest when I can't stand mages, warlocks, or elemental shamans.

Kabooey has been diligently been doing his troll heroics. Truthfully, he's ready to raid and maybe he'll even substitute into the Not In The Face raid soon. He's also questing in Twilight Highlands since he never finished it on Caoboi. Caoboi can't believe that [insert spoiler here] talked to Kabooey in such a manner. And I can't believe that [insert spoiler here] did what he did to Kabooey.

We are going back and forth on what toons to level in Cataclysm content next. There's a shaman/mage combo, a paladin/paladin combo, or continuing to play our druid/priest combo. So many options! And don't even get us started on what do on our refer a friend accounts on Winterhoof!

We're heading off to Dragon Con this weekend and we'll be thinking of you guys and tweeting lots of pics. You all have a great week and we'll be thinking of you guys!

For the Horde, Clan of Darkness, and Refrigerators!

Update

Hey CAW Crew,
Just wanted to update you all on whats been happening lately. Its been a while since I have written in, RL and all.....
Well I managed to get my 9th 85 on the Aliance side, with only my rogue, who is 50, to go. I have never gotten a rogue higher than 40, so its a challenge to say the least, but looking forward to that 10th.
I have also been doing dailies in COD on my DK, Ardonious, who is now 76, and planning on pushing him to 85 real soon. After that its a mad dash for the rest of my Horde toons.
Unfortunatley I am having shoulder surgery today, and expect it will be some what difficult to play consistantly for a while, but like all altoholics, I will try my best, LOL.
Well take care, and wish you all the best.
For the Aliance, the Horde,COD, and the SandGroppers :)

Audio Submission

Heya Caw Crew.
Well I finally did it. Here's my audio submission. Have fun tearing into this one if the mood strikes ya! I did this one on the fly and wanted to get this to you as soon as possible before your next show. I'll be sure to be a bit more prepared for the next one. Darn you Illidan, you were right. I wasn't prepared.

P.S. It was a few shows back but I do believe Bloodfalcon won something. A pet I do believe. That's me. Oh well I'm not all that concerned, but I won't turn down a free pet either. ;D

paladins are overrated (email submission for show)

Dear CAW crew,

ive gone back to writing emails rather than audio submissions, i think perhaps i prefer hearing my words spoken by the hosts rather than by myself, you lot butcher the text a lot less than i do!

Sooo, TheMcfluffy, Deathfluff and Floof all got server moved in an geekily extravagent display of affection for my better half who wanted to have a fresh start on a new server. This has meant finding a new guild, making new friends and getting used to the new economy on my new found home. This has gone suprisingly well, ive now found a lovely guild with many lovely people in it, im starting to raid again and whilst im not making much gold anymore i am making enough to still treat myself to the odd potion of illusion to wind people up with in raids.

One good outcome of this is that i suddenly had many character slots free on my old server which i have now dutifully filled with alts, specifically exact doubles, all be it low level, of the three characters i moved away. Apart from causing general confusion on the realm amongst those that knew me well it also got me accused of hacking with recount failing to process the change and, based on the original characters data, was claiming that my level 1 paladin was doing 9k dps in his last fight.

I have also started up Mcfluffys on half a dozen other servers and evilmcfluffs on various opposing factions accross the same servers, at last count i have 15 paladins accross six realms all with names close to or exactly mcfluffy. I think its pretty safe to say im not going to run out of alts to level anytime soon but if i do i have a rather unlikely plan in mind to do an alt that sticks to oldschool diable hc rules... ie if i die i delete it.

Finally a little bit on Floof who depressingly isnt a paladin but a hunter. he is actually my original character from when i 1st started playing wow but has been used almost exclusively for gathering proffessions until now. Due to a recent opportunity to do alt runs I have now started gearing him up and doing dungeons with him and im gutted to admit that without having a clue what im doing im already doing better dps with him than ive ever managed on a fully geared and researched paladin. some classes it seems really are easier to play than others.

and thats it for now, since ive been unable to attend the live recordings of late hopefully the conversations in the chatroom have been a little more on topic but i promise i will be back to distract you all at the first opportunity, till then stay well and stay altaholic!

hobgoblyn update

hi guys thanks for reading my email last podcast :)

so last week i mentioned my dps and i wasnt sure if you guys believed me or not so i decided to send you a screenshot of my recount at the end of a zul aman heroic

so this week i decided to be rather frivolous with my gold again and spent 15k on on a hyacinth macaw just because i could. i also decided to spend some gold on buying haris piltons bag so i could get the my sack is bigger than yours achievment heh.

my guild finally managed to get enough dps dps together this week and we made our first real foray into firelands... we downed shannox on our second attempt and i got some new boots... coalwalker boots which are ilvl 378 and that took my avg ilvl upto 367. we then managed to take down bethtilac on our 4th attempt. on both bosses i managed to get an eternal ember so thats 2/25 needed for this step of the legendary staff quest. thats about all i have done on my mage this week as im really too lazy to do any more dailies since i finished the firelands stuff and i dont need gold.

earlier in the week we took a whole load of our not so geared members through both of the blackwing descent and bastion of twilight raids to get them achievements and gear which was pretty fun.

i also decided to take up a new challenge and create a druid tank named Getafix on a new server and play with no heirlooms or gold or anything like that... i have managed to get to lvl 30 so far and gotten inscription to 150 and made 250g so far so well on my way to getting flying at 60.

ok so thats about all i have done this week

for the gnome mages

for the gnomes

for the gnomes

for the gnomes

for the gnomes

you get the idea lol

cheers guys

Rigarmorty Email - CAW Episode 230

Hi CAW Crew!

Apologies I've not had the chance to do an audio for this week! I've been incredibly busy sorting financial stuff out and getting ready to go up to Scotland and I've barely had a minute to spare!

I'm due back from my trip Thursday evening so there's a slim possibility that I'll be able to pop online that night before my Wow time runs out at 3am GMT on Friday morning.

I've deposited 1000 gold into the guild bank and will miss everyone terribly! Aprillian, feel free to distribute or use however you see fit, even if it goes towards another guild tab!

I should be back within a month as we've just finished sorting a re-mortgage which'll free up some more spare cash for things like Wow. I will be on the EU servers from next week as they're easier to pay for and will keep you updated on my adventures over there!

Speak soon!

RAF, Friends in game and real life ( from 42 and Mel)

Hi Aprillian, Ashayo, Vrishna and Jeppy

Hope you are well .

I would like to go back to an older podcast where you were discussing levelling in a dungeon with RAF. The big advantage of doing a dungeon randomly is the bonus xp you get at the end from the random dungeon finder . At lower levels it could be up to almost a level and at 70+ it was a few bubbles. That was how we kept up with Jeppy. We also tried to ensure we picked up any instance quests , which became harder in Outland and Northrend

The only time this does not work is when you get bad members of the group. This only happened once or twice to us.

Secondly we would like to say hello to the members of the night shift of Clan of Darkness. To our fearless leader Wight who is always in dungeons leveling/boosting lower toons , to our dear friend Annastasza , to Rigarmorty who is on a hiatus for a month or so from Earthen Ring . We will miss you. To all our daytime friend like Dreams we salute you . If we forgot anyone please forgive us as it was not intentional.

If 42 heard correctly we think you have over 1,000 listeners. That is wonderful! – now lets go with some maths ( note the s should be said). Let say 10 % write in so that is 100 people who can belong to Clan of Darkness. . As we are all mostly altaholics on average we might have over 5 toons on each account on Earthen Ring and have at least two accounts ( for RAF purposes if nothing else) . So that should mean that we could have a guild of over 1000 toons . Well if we add Aprillian, Vrishna and Jeppy toons we could have over 2000 toons in the guild .

So come on people lets fill up the guild and make it one of the biggest (as it is now one of the nicest) in WOW

In real life Mel and I have had a rough time with the passing of Mel’s Grandmother and the sudden decline of a very close friend who has not long to live. Our moral question comes from this friend . He has played wow for many many years and wants us to have his account. We are very keen to keep one or two of his toons going in memory of him. The big “but” is “Is this is against the terms of agreement?” and we would like to have you advice on this ethical question. He is keen on us doing this and has given us full access to his account , but we are also not sure how we would feel playing the toons. I can see us bringing out his toons for special occasions like Brewfest and Halloween, but Mel at least can’t imagine playing them at the moment without getting too sad. Perhaps with time, as our multiboxing skills improve it will become easier?

Anyway back to work for us

Our toons are ....
We would give you the list of our toons but we would run of electrons

So on behalf of Mel and 42

For the Horde! , for the Alliance!

For The FUN!
and finally For the Bunnies!

PS How quick is the guild levelling!?!? .

To quote young Mr Grace from "Are you being Served " - “ You all have done very well” ( Jeppy or Ashayo will hopefully know how to say that)
PPS from Mel - You don’t know how grateful I have been to you for your podcast in the past few weeks. Sometimes it has been very hard to be cheerful, and you have not only brought a smile to our faces, you have made us laugh out loud. I am sure that we are not the only ones amongst your listeners whose burden of daily cares has been made a little lighter by your joy, not just in the game, but in life. Thank you very sincerely for all that you bring to the podcasting table each week, Mel

Hey there CAW crew!

*sigh* It's been one of those weeks, been so busy in fact I haven't been able to get you all an audio submission and pointless in fact, as I think I have only logged onto my character once this week and that was all for about an hour and a half in which time I maxed out my Shaman's Enchanting ;). Never fear though, I will be back in game tonight and striving more and more towards my goal for his level 85! Hope you all had a good one this week!

Hi JAVA,

Grab yourself a refreshing drink, this is going to take awhile.

Good Morning JAVA!

Let me begin by apologizing for not submitting an audio this week and forcing one of you lovely hosts to read my attempt at the English language. (This is English right?) Anyhoo, I did record something, but unfortunately I ran out of time to properly edit the thing to cohesiveness and then shortly after Lil' Deathy fell asleep I developed a MASSIVE splitting headache. So for now you'll have to forgive me and give your dulcet vocal chords a workout.

Our wonderful guild over on Nevikhoof has been a bustling place over the past 2 weeks with plenty of multi-boxing action. Between Aprillian diligently working on her cross-realm RAF'ng, Vrishna taking pity upon us by valorously working on his non-RAF'd toons, and Mike Willow blowing through dungeons with his RAF hunter trio (which hit 80 this week!) Nevikhoof has not been a lonely place.

That isn't to say that the usual suspects haven't been accounted for either. Bidcar, Melchezadek, LizTailor, Razurius, Kadak and 10 minute Riggy we MONO-BOXERs (sorry for the language) have been present as well. It has been a very welcome sight to login and see 4 or more people online even if usually 3 of them are Aprillian ^^.

All of this activity (especially MikeWillow's dungeon running) yielded more than enough gold for Aprillian to buy the guild a 5th tab (even though she still needs to fully set it up) and we're 92% of the way to level 7!

Sure, Clan of Darkness is rocketing through the guild levels and will hit level 25 long, long, loooooooonnnng before the ORIGINAL CAW guild does, but I'm proud of our merry band of Alliance-curious (or devotees) listeners contributing to make our little slice of WoW a wonderful place to be.

As for myself, I've been up to the same stuff I do every day ... y'know take over the world ... er I mean my Firelands dailies and punching Anzu Claus in the face to no avail. The [Scorchling pet] and [Reins of the Raven Lord] still allude me, but by this time next week I'll at least have a Nevikhoof Frost ... er I mean a Winterhoof, er no I mean a Winterspring Frostsaber to join my stable of ground mounts (which includes the striped zherva!).

I was also fortunate enough to find some spare time to work on my Dwarven rogue and plowed through zone after zone in getting him to level 52. I really have to say that for as critical as I have been with the end-game content in Cataclysm the 1-60 experience has been absolutely incredible.

Running out of rested xp has been a welcome thing in my renewed journeys with my rogue simply because being in the purple meant not out-leveling the content and enjoying it as intended. It's a shame that I haven't found the time to blog about it (yes, I still have a blog) so I could more properly wax poetic about it, but hopefully soon I'll be able to rectify that.

It won't be long before my rogue jumps through the dark portal and things slow down again, so I'm really trying to get the most out of questing through the new old-world. I only wish that I could stay on Azeroth until 62 and skip Hellfire Peninsula entirely. At least when the day my rogue is faced with "vacationing" in Outlands I'll have my DK with a full rested xp bar to "escape" to in Northrend.

I've been avoiding my DK for some time now simply because it seems the pace slows down dramatically in Northrend and that is compounded by the fact that my DK still has slow flying. Fortunately my diligence in fruitlessly trying to get my mage a scorchling pet has yielded enough sugar-momma money to send to my DK so she can buy herself a faster ride. Epic flying will surely remove my reluctance to start leveling my DK and it'll only be a matter of time before I have my 2nd 85 on Nevikhoof.

Anyhoo I've just realized that I've written quite a novel of an email so I should wrap this up and quickly!

For the pain killers!

Nevik of Nevikhoof

P.S. I'm really sorry about the length, but I guess that's what happens when I type out pretty much everything I was going to say in my audio.

P.P.S. My audio intro was going to be really funny! Well there's always next time.

Shout Outs & Thank You

Momomoments - oh wherefore art thou mo

Hello all,
hope you still remember me, I am mo :)
I am sorry for being away for what seems like forever!
I have not been in game much in the past weeks however I did get some good playing time this past weekend.
I did finally hit exalted with the COD guild on my druid Morfin :)
And for some odd reason I have been on this kick to level fishing on him. I really have no idea as I have always hated fishing for how slow and tedious it is.
I hit 380 this weekend and 525 seems so far away but I am working at it slowwwwwwwly! Doing the fishing dailies as often as I can along with cooking.

There was some shammy pally action too as I did some questing in the borean tundra on them with some difficulty, my video card which is only 6 months old I guess doesnt want to handle 2 wow accounts running with chrome, itunes and other things :)
I know I should probably turn off some of the other things but you know we are all multi-taskers in our own way.

Grats as always for the COD guild leveling each week it seems like, great to see everyone working to level the guild.
Hope you are all doing ok in and out of game and until next time!

Hasta lavista!

Hail CAW Crew!
Aprillian, Ashayo, Virshna and Jeppy,

I became an avid WOW player since shortly after the start of Burning Crusade. I have over 50 Alts, spread across 13, uh, make that 14 realms now. Maybe I should try your spreadsheet idea, and find out exactly how many Alts...

I discovered your fine show early this summer. I really enjoy the way the whole Control-Alt-WOW crew interacts, and all the fun you have in game, and on the show. I also love all your skilled contributors, and the awesome content they send in each week. As I listen to you all describe your many Alts, multiboxing, Recruit-a-Friend accounts, and dislike of leveling "in purple" one thought keeps going through my head "these are my people".

While I have 2 level 84 characters, 3 more above level 80, and a dozen over level 60, I have not yet "dinged" 85. However, I don't feel too guilty about my slow leveling speed as I was in Iraq with my National Guard unit (... "Army" National Guard unit), from before Cataclysm launched until this summer. Logging into WOW while I was deployed was a great comfort to me, but I was only able to play low level Alts, and run holiday events. The poor internet connection made high level content unplayable.

Now that I've returned home your show has inspired me to start a new RAF account (I really needed a rocket mount anyway), and I've created Tiber (a Tauren priest), and several companions on my 14th server, Earthen Ring. I hope that we can be invited in to Clan of Darkness, so that we can join in the fun, and excitement of playing WOW with kindrid spirits.

For the Clan of Darkness,
For the Horde,
For the Earthmother,

What We've Been Doing:

Can give levels cross realm in dungeons!
Epril, Aprillian and Auruk did TB Dailies outside on Friday, and half inside. managed to do Problem with no problem

Decided to work harder on my RAF. I want to get at least one to 80 so I can give levels back. Then realized I wanted a Worgen Druid. Dilemma, can't RAF Worgens, referred account doesn't have Cata. So I started a pair with my older account and the referring account. Took 4 days to get out of the Worgen area. Seemed easier. The battle for Gilneas got crazy. Looked away to watch a movie. Hardest part was the finding Sylvannas quest, kept loosing the guy.

Needed a portal to Darnassus, only mage was on different server. Used Stockades to get together and got a port.

Got mounts on

Aprillian & Vrishna

Ran Deadmines with Elyte boosting. And then WITHOUT !

Vrishna

Macros, HOLY COW ! How did I ever get on without it ?

Ashayo

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaack.... and did stuff.

Jeppy

To loot or not to loot. XCronos and Mikewillow conversation. So many multiboxers / RAFers in the guild = gold.

Tinock's first solo submission.

Howdy CAW Crew... Aprillian, Vrishna, Ashayo and Jeppy.

This is my first solo audio submission and I am fairly new at this recording for a podcast thing so excuse if I get the levels wrong or anything like that.

Please, be gentle, it's my first time!

first time writer

hi guys my name wow nick is hobgoblyn and i'm a reasonably long time listener and first time writer... i have chatted with jeppy a few times on twitter and dreams too(she gave me my google+ invite )

i find your guys fun out-take on wow quite enjoyable to listen to tbh

i have been playing wow since vanilla and have raided quite a lot. my main hobgoblyn on chamber of aspects eu has raided and completed most content at level. i have an avg ilvl of 366 and do about 22-23k dps in a random dungeon. i have never had any problems making gold as i have made about 250k gold so far this expansion in various exploits. i have the vial of the sands and the travellers tundra mammoth which i got both in the first week of each expansion... i have an army of alts too which i play.

unfortunately i dont have a us account so cant join you guys and your fun exploits but i do have a very fun relaxed semi raiding guild that i have a lot of fun with by the name of fat lady sings again

right im sure i will think of stuff to talk about next week

thanks for your time

for the alliance gnome mage...

for teh rabbit stew

love the show

Hey all,

(the quick of it)
love your show, been playing wow about 2.5 years, just recently started listening to podcasts, decided to try it out myself. when you get a minute drop by and check it out: http://thewarstompinggrounds.com/

(the windy, winding version)
I play Horde side, though I do have a few Alliance most under 20 levels, one Nelf Rogue at almost 40. My main is a resto shaman, Quahepok 85 and another 85- Eyore, resto druid. I've got a couple alts the highest around level 65, soon I'll be venturing into the RAF territory, don't think I'll be dual boxing anytime soon but who knows. My son is almost 8 and now that you can play free up to level 20 I thought maybe let him have a go. He can level em for me ;)

I don't raid much and haven't since lich king, saw magmaw and halfus- died. I'll do the baradin hold stuff when i can, mostly i just like playing the WoW. If I had more time (read: less work, less bills, less kids, (i'm not gonna write less wife, because she will know somehow, someway)) I would raid. I like working together with a group and challenging myself. The best times are when you're right in the middle of appropriate content level- not way undergeared, or way overgeared. Well that's not always true- ZA ZG are still a challenge as a pug but not always fun.

Anyway I really dig your show, not too many shows could pull off 2-3 hours, but I enjoy all of it, got you on my stitcher radio favorites, keep up the excellent work

For The Horde!
For the allian. ...meh

Adventures in tanking....SO TIRED OF THE HYJAL DAILIES!!!

Hey all....Your forever fan Kurly here!! I am getting excited for Autumn! I love the summer...but being the big, burly, furry fellow I am humidity and I dont often get on so well (TMI? Sorry), and I love love love late September, early October!! Woo hoo!!
As I have been healing for many a moon I decided to roll some tanks. One of each kind, and have been trying to hone me skills. I have found that Pally's and Bear's are the easiest, but it is not at all easy to get the leather gear on my bear. She has been skinning and doing leveling leather working but it seems like you have to get the skill up into the 200's before you can make something a level 20 druid can use. Also, warriors and Pally's doing DPS seem to love to pull aggro, and for the most part.are the least co-operative, and that most low level groups seem to be the most, um, noobish. You can easily pick out the players who are rolling alts (one of us!!), vs. people who are starting out. I have honestly had the most fun on my DK tank. She is a very ugly orc named Torkalla and let me tell you...she loves to take a beating!!! Most people are very helpful as I always announce my newness to tanking, and I am looking forward to getting out of Outland and Tanking me some Northrend content. I have been listening to The Guardian Tank podcast and would recommend that everyone at least try and roll a tank. I can totally see how its not for everyone, but it is an important roll in WOW and I think it would behoove everyone to see what its like.
The Hyjal dailies....what can be said? I know I have mentioned them before, and this will be the last time I promise! I think I have been at them for a month, and are just about to finish, most likely by the end of the week. Its become a love/hate thing. I love the zone and all of the action that's going on, and I love the "guest stars" that accompany you during one of them (Paltress, Lunk, The Leaper), but to think of the number of World Tree Marks you need to finish is just mental. I had heard a long while back (I think from Total Biscuit) that dailies are one of Blizzards way of keeping us hooked....repetitive kind of mindless quests that in the end offer some wonderful rewards. My suggestion would be that the lower the number of Marks needed to finish....but that's just me.
'Tis all for now! I hope you all have a wonderful week...and if you ever need a guest let me know!!!!
Love'n hugs!!
Kurly

Yes, Strumpet101 is also an Altaholic - and proud of it

Hi guys -

So, I started writing the below email about two months ago. Yes, over two months actually! It became a rather long and involved email that you probably don't care to plow through.

However, I consider Jeppy a truly great friend, and despite claiming to be a bit of a loner (see below) in my gaming life, I *do* love being social occasionally!

So, after having issues with the new hairstyles available for my human priest - seriously, putting blood elf styles on your head, but leaving your original hairline visible?!? What's up with THAT!?! -- I've decided to move a level 44 goblin shaman to the CAW server. Who knows?!? Maybe I'll like being social again :)

I'm not sure about not killing rabbits though - it might have turned into a reflex action by now.

Just kidding. /duck for cover.

See you in game!!

Strumpet aka Shoxxie the goblin (hopefully it's the same name after I transfer)

From June 4
I really enjoy your show - normally I listen to it as I'm trying to go for my walk -- I'm supposed to be good and go every day but well ...yea.

Although I don't often talk much about WoW on Strumpet's Voice, it is true. I am an altaholic. I do not, at this point, strictly speaking have more than one account. Although I make frequent use of one of the three other accounts in the household - one of my boys' or my husband's. Mostly my husband's these days, as he's busy playing a bunch of other games.

Many of my meta (or inernet) friends - I call them my imaginary friends - complain bitterly when I don't want to bring a toon, a cast of toons, or something of the sort to their server so we can play together. I have my reasons though. In the 6 years (is it 6 since Vanilla?) that I have been playing WoW, I have played all sorts of ways. I have been in a leveling guild that became a raiding guild. I have been an officer. I have formed a breakaway guild of disgruntled people. Which didn't work. Does that kind of thing ever work? I have healed as a permanent guest-healer in some prominent Oceania guilds (back in the day, anyway). I have played one character to the point of obsession and I have leveled each class at least once to 80.

I have done the Netherwing quests, I have grouped with my kids and my father in law. I have been in Friday night Drunken Naxx runs where we had more fun than loot, and I have played with people I used to go to High School in Scotland with after finding them again in WoW.

But for the past year or year and a half, I have been happily playing 'by myself'. I do put 'by myself' in quotation marks though. Let me first explain what it means to play by myself. My whole family (husband, and two boys) is a family of gamers. We play 'together' but not necessarily on the same realm and in the same game! But we are all either in the same room & within hearing distance. Which means I'm not by myself - and if I need help with something, hubbie usually logs on a toon to help!

weekly cooking tip

Greetings CAW crew, and Virshna.
C.C. The Disgruntled Warlock here

So there I was listening to the most recent Podcast and thinly slicing a rabbit for a good old fashion BLT (that’s bunny, lettuce and tomato). when I hear that Virshna wants to invite me to the guild, just to kick me out, how rude. I mean we have the whole ” bunny love” thing in common. Sure he wants to take long moonlit walks on the beach with them and I want to snap their necks and cover them with barbecue sauce, but still, we both love them.

So I thought maybe, just maybe, I am a little insensitive and how could I make peace with Virshna. I went down to ye old killing field and after a short while a cute little bunny came hopping by. Just for fun, I picked him up and /loved him. Wouldn’t you know it, he bit me.

Enraged, I did what any truly evil Warlock would do; I cast life drain on him and brought him back to life with health funnel, over and over and over and over again. After about an hour, I was in a much better mood, so I cast fear on him and laughed hysterically as he ran squealing into a pool of lava. Then I went into town and started complaining about how incredibly low the drop rate was on the new “Reins of the Blood Soaked Proto Hare”. Now the life expectancy of a bunny, on my server, is shorter than that of a Time-Lost Proto-Drake during school vacation.

I understand this isn’t going to bring me and Virshna and closer but hey, what can I say, I’m a warlock ---- It’s what we do……
For the bunny’s----- cooked over an open fire until golden brown then jammed between two graham crackers and a Hershey bar ……..
C.C. the Disgruntled Warlock
P.S. If I’m really upsetting that pixel hugging Virshna that much, maybe the fine folks over at The Addicted will have me over for their next “Addicted to cooking” segment…… Just Saying

CtrlAltWow Listener Email

Letter 6 ---------- August 15, 2011
From Reefberry

Dear Rusty Garden Tools,

I’m going to come right out and ask could I Real ID a few Clan of Darkness officers and become an honorary CoD member. I’m an established pro-bunny hugger, so no conflict there. Then maybe, just maybe I might get invited for an instance or a raid run when I not committed to assisting a family member. Joining an occasional run with the people I listen to so often would be surreal. Imagine if Gilligan suddenly put his hand out through the TV, pulled me in, and I assisted the castaways in another attempt to leave the island.

On Friday nights we (five brothers) typically horse around in WoW, jumping into battlegrounds or dungeons, whatever fits our fancy. One of us stepped out and we let my grandson into the party. We ran him through Black Fathom Deep. Right away I noticed he was running up to mobs and punching them. I kept typing, “use your gun”. He replies, he can’t shoot, it just stopped working. Now, I know, he knows how to use it. We inspect him, he has his gun and its equipped. Now I’m thinking he messed up his action bars. I get him to connect on iChat. “Adam what’s going on? Don’t run ahead of us and don’t run up to the mobs. Stay back and shoot with the gun.” He meekly says something I couldn’t quite hear and starts sounding out some big word “dur ab ili ty”. I slap myself in the head and realized I never taught him about repairing. Starting this game fresh must require a lot of learning.

Hey guys here's my ninth Audio submission! Only one more til' double digits!! I'm attaching a photo of my Shaman as he sits at the moment in addition to all this so you can see how far he has come ;) Well anywho, hope you enjoy this week's submission. Oh and before I forget, this new song's name is "Deadly Onslaught by Audiomachine". Cheers

Good morning Aprillian, Jeppy, Vrishna and Ashayo!

As I speak, it's the morning of my glorious day off and I just woke up really so if I sound a little out of it,
you'll know why. You'd be surprised how fast a Pepsi can wake me up though, it's my little personal addiction!
In a sort of bitter-sweet happening earlier this week I managed to cop second degree burns from a car's burning
coolant under pressure jetting up and wiping out half my face so I got two days off work which gave me a little
extra time for my Shaman. I have to say it hurt like hell though.

In the world of WoW, things have been moving stupidly fast with my Shaman who is now sitting at level 72 and still
going fast. He has been levelling as an Elemental Shaman and I have kept his restoration tree up to date as well
which I actually got the glee of testing the other day to help a friend knock over a multi-character quest. 22k
heal crits! I also managed to solo a quest that said to take 3 people without running out of mana with self-heals
and the like! I'm truly loving the Shaman more and more as I continue to level and discover more powers and his
versatility. It is my first time ever doing a healer so I have to say it is an exciting and exhilarating experience
having the ability to heal so much.

As usual my Shaman has been at the forefront of my levelling so I haven't really touched my other characters. I
have however, made an Orc Mage on Earthen Ring who is sitting ready when i get bored of my Shaman! Not likely for a
while though so I have a real urge to transfer some guys so I'm not feeling required to stop my Shaman just to level
a guy with you all.

My question this week is going to have to be about all the hype over Blizzard trademarking a new name under
computer games licensing named "Mists of Pandaria" and everyone is going nuts over how it is going to be the new
expansion, as the same thing happened with the name Cataclysm before it came out. I for one hope to high hell that
we will not be getting Pandarian races as playable as I have always loved the fact that World of Warcraft has
stuck to it's Lore and as Pandarens are a sort of joke that we have never really explored, it would completely go
off the rails. I may as well not stick to my Orc-only rule as whats the point if Lore is going to be turned upside
down anyway? What's your thoughts?

This has been Maximumforce for the Horde, For the Alliance and for Shaman Healing! Oh, and NOT for playable Panda
People with no adherance to lore!!!!

Hi guys!

JJ already invited me into the guild but he told me that I'm supposed to send you all an email and introduce myself.

My name is Sam. My main is Morghanna, a level 85 hunter. I'm another AIE alum. As much as I love AIE it's gotten a bit big for me and so I was looking for something a little bit smaller and JJ and Aprillian were kind enough to offer me refuge in Clan of Darkness.

I'm not sure what else I'm supposed to tell you. I'm not a hardcore player, I'm not that good. I just like to kill things (in game, I don't kill things in real life anymore) and have fun!

Thanks!

I didn't get a recording done for you tonight...I am working on the little Clan of Darkness song, you see, and still haven't got it all mashed out yet....teehee! It's harder than it sounds, you know?

Anywho, AND Tabi came back from Maine Monday night!! Woohooo!!!! I missed her SO much! We had to sit and go through the pictures and chit-chat about everything she and Pixiegirl and the boys did. She had just the BEST time! Pixie just loves loves loves her new home (haha...just wait till it's covered in snow! lol ;) and the boys do too, so that's good. Tabi's getting ready for her 2nd year of college, and we just got carried away catching up.
I hope that one of these years we CAN get together for a CAW East-Coast meet-up! That would be SOOOO cool!!!! =D
Anywho, just wanted to drop you a line and let you know that I HAVE been thinking about you, that I'm working on something, but just didn't get it done in time..I hope you're all doing GREAT!
Okay, back to the dungeons with me,
Big hugs and kisses *muah!*

Auruk got revered with CoD and she and Aprillian brought guild banners

Doing Venture bay on Elyte feels so weird. Horde own the island, Elyte can't turn it by herself but I'm going to try.
The captain quest is so easy for alliance. The Horde captain isn't even on the ship, he's under an awning
LizTailor came to my rescue!

The failure to do quest in the Orc starting area for the Belf seems to have been a glitch. I started RAF Belf/Orcs on ER and

When my Belf went home to train, she came back with gifts for her new Orc friend. They go well with her heirloom gear.

Podcast e-mail submition for guild invite

Greetings Ctrl Alt WoW Crew, I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you know how much I enjoy listining to the podcast. I look forward to hearing about your WoW adventures each and every week. You are all so very entertaining and at times informative. (JK, you are always informative) Well, let me tell you a bit about myself. I have been playing World of Warcraft for about four years now and I have one level 85 Gnome (yes Gnome) on the Nordrassil server. Her name is Zora and she is an awsome, powerful, and cute little warlock. I also have about 10 other alts which are between levels 1-50. They are ALL Aliance toons, and even though I love each and every one of them I think it's about time that I branch out and experience what the other side has to offer. So, I have created a Undead Warlock on Earthen Ring named Dazmin. She is level 5 and I am having such a blast with her. I can't believe it took me so long to step on over to the darkside. It's like I'm playing a new game. There is only one problem and that is that I have no friends and no guild to call home. Soooooo, I am hoping that there is room for a lonley warlock named Dazmin in the Clan of Darkness. I really don't have much to offer at level 5, but I will do whatever I can to help out. I am looking forward to getting to know each and every one of you and hope that I can be a vital addition to your clan. Thank you again for your wonderful podcast and I hope to see you all in game. Have a great week and happy questing!
Dazmin

hello

Hello Ctrl Alt Wow Crew. My name is Luciten, level 85 Undead Frost DK on Winterhoof. I have been listening to the show for over year now and I make it a point each and every week to download the latest episode of your fine podcast. I’ve been playing WoW for about two and a half years and I guess you can say that I’m totally addicted to this wonderful game...seeing that I have 5 level 85 toons and many low level toons... Anyhow...something recently that I’ve stumbled upon on YouTube was the Ring of Mushrooms in Tirisfal Glades. I made it a point to go check it out and although it took and hour and a half for the ritual to begin, it was well worth the time just sitting there waiting...and waiting. I was wondering if any of you have gotten a chance to go check this out and what do you think it all means?
Well I just wanted to write and tell you all how great I think the show is...I'm constantly laughing my A$$ off and all of the different personalities but the main thing that cracks me up is Aprillian’s “he he he” laugh. She owns me!!!
Keep up the good work!!!

norway attack and WoW explanation

Howdy folks,

i'm listening to CtrlAltWow episode 227 'our week on nevikhoof' and Juuno in her audio discussed the Norwegian attack.
I have followed that news a bit and i like to clear some things.

The shops in and around Oslo did take WoW of the shelves, but not because of it being a "violent" game that makes "normal people" aggressive.
They took it of the shelves in solidarity to the victims.
Also, it wasn't done in whole Norway.

The reference the crazy bomb and gunman made was that WoW was a great ruse / excuse to be left alone.
quote: "you can't imagine the things you get away with if you say you play WoW".

Also it was technically not a terrorist attack.

I sincerely hope Norway will stay the same and not follow the route that the U.S.A, the U.K. and the Netherlands are on.

PS: oh, and Juuno, sorry for me slacking on the audio, Editing is harder than i thought.
Now i know why Aprillian doesn't like to edit :)
And its not about my voice that i'm slacking, its truly about cutting and pasting and timing the singing. (which btw is not a metal song, sorry OgrePinguin)

PPS: And Aprillian, about the "not editing", don't worry, Scott Johnson says he doesn't edit cause he doesn't need to because he and his co-host can wing it :P
And Adam Curry from No Agenda says he doesn't edit cause he wants the podcast to be so pure and honest as possible.
So your in good company :D
The next time your co-hosts make an "Aprillian and editing???" joke you now have 2 counter-attacks :)

PPPS: a ppps especially for Vrishna, because i know you love ppps'es :D

Hey CAW

Hey guys this is Kurkka from Silvermoon a level 85 human mage. First time emailer. I have been listening to your podcast for about 2 years now. I really look forward to it every week. I have noticed that your guild seems to have alot of fun with the people you play with and also you guys seem like a good bunch to be around. I have played this game for 2 years bouncing around guilds that didnt stick together. Got into a guild about a year ago that started to raid. They since have dropped off the face of the planet. So i would really like to be apart of the family you guys have. Not sure how to go about getting an invite. I will start a level 1 toon on Earthen Ring. But other than that not sure who to contact. So if you have room for one more dedicated listener i would love to be a part of the CAW family and fun.

A little about me. I have 4 85's and a bunch of 60 to 20 toons. Been a wow player for about 3 years. I have mostly played alliance with a couple low level hoarde mixed in. I have raided some but not much.

Again thanks for all you guys do.

It happened in the Dungeons

:)

Due to me trying to use a template instead of re-recording the intro.... the voices got changed. I enjoyed listening to it myself so I left it that way. Hopefully, I can figure out what caused the glitch so it doesn't happen again.

weekly cooking tip

Greetings Aprillian, Ashayo, Virshna and Jeppy.

C.C. The Disgruntled Warlock here with this weeks cooking tip.

This week I decided to give Virshna a break and not talk about killing and eating bunny's. Instead I want to focus on work ethics. I was always told if your going to do something, do it right. For example anyone can round up a bag full of fluffy rabbits and throw them in front of a siege engine to make some good old fashion "bunny pizza". But what fun is that? Be creative, don't make cooking a grind, have FUN!
This is how I do it. Hit your bank and put on all your old dusty winter Veil cloths (you know you have them in there somewhere). Sprinkle your mount with some preserved holly and open up ye old Helper Box. So there you, are a slightly deranged version of Father Winter, now what? Gather up your bag-o-bunnies and head off to the orphanage. I have to admit, the twinkle in an orphans eyes, as you set up that Winter veil Pinata, always gets to me.
After about 20 min of "tenderizing", by those little ankle biters, your bunny is just right. Strain out the larger chunks to make your crust and then pour on remaining liquid for sauce. Generously sprinkle with Northern Spices and cook until done------ abbondanza.

Honestly, the only thing better than the taste of fresh Bunny Pizza is the look on an orphans face when you open the bag or when Virshna reads this letter.

Audio Submission 8

Wow can't believe that I'm already up to submission 8! It's a short but sweet one this week with no accompanying pictures this time (lol) but there is a few cool little things that have happened and been thought of this week that i'd love to hear your thoughts about. Without future ado!

Hey there Aprillian, Jeppy, Ashayo and Vrishna!

This week has been crazy! Not only has work taken a big dip into the land of boring but my Shaman is taking big
strides into unknown territory with his levelling which has seen him reach 66 and especially with his professions!
I am very proud of his progress this week and I am amazed to tell you that I powerlevelled my Enchanting and in a
single night, have maxed it out at 450. Unfortunately you need to be level 75 to unlock the last 75 points but I
really don't mind. I have all the enchants I could need for my Shaman up to level 81-85 and that's going to be a
big bonus! Plus I have been saving through my own secret methods on another character who was able to gift him
with a nice fat 20k gold which has been chomped into a bit to finish off my enchanting.

Apart from my Shaman's progress, I haven't really touched my other characters as usual. I did hop on my hunter and
queue for heroics but both times I did I got bored of waiting and decided to hop onto my leveller as he is giving
me a whole new insight into characters I haven't played before: Shield bearing and Spellcaster gameplay. It very
much changes the game and really makes it enjoyable all over again!

Also, in regards to last week's question from another person, I am going to link the song you wanted in my notes:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cavLbqiLjG4

This week I am proud to bring you a personal question which actually will influence one of my near future decisions!
I am getting prepared to transfer ONE of my characters over to the realm of Earthen Ring to join you all but as my
funds aren't as frivoulous as yours seem to be with multiple accounts, etc, I will only be doing a single transfer
until I deem it necessary to bring the other. So who would you rather have over with you in the guild (provided I
am invited!): A raid-ready 360 ilvl MM hunter or my Shaman I am levelling to become a healer and can provide all
enchants for guildies on. What do you think?

This has been Maximumforce for the Horde, for the death of the Alliance and for Enchanting!

Bangobingo Update #3

Hey CAW crew,

I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the summer heat wave. It has been over 100 degrees (American) here for over 50 days straight so we are definitely feeling the sun’s love touch. Anyway, Since my last email I have hit several milestones both individually and with CoD. First, I got my warrior, Bangobingo , to 85 and immediately began the grind to upgrade the questing blues and greens to more appropriate gear. I was able to do the Firelands quests to get the i-level 365 cape and boots. I have been trudging though the dailies as much as possible and hope to round out the set with some purchased epics once I unlock the vendors. Still not sure which to turn in first as a plate wearer but I suppose I will get both factions unlocked someday anyway. The conundrum I have now is that I originally intended this toon to be my first attempt at playing a tank, both while leveling and at endgame. Though I leveled almost exclusively as prot and even tanked some of the early dungeons, I am still a bit leery about tanking the cata dungeons and heroics. I guess I just need to man up beat my face against the random dungeon finder until I am proficient enough to confidently tank through the instances.

The next big event of the week was much more exciting! I was fortunate enough to be A) online and B) sober enough to join in the latest litch king raid (though B) is still up for interpretation). I was quite happy to finally get my first ever Kingslayer title with the guild. I was able to experience the legendary calm demeanor of Brew Dog and Dreams as them led us through the encounter. I only wish I could have contributed more to the event as I was the first to be swept away from the group by the flying ladies (can’t spell the real word for them). Such is life but if I am ever able to help on any other guild runs I would love the chance to repay the favor to my fellow guildies.
I know this is getting long but I would be remiss if I didn’t pose a final question. As I was reflecting on the past achievements of my toons and the guild as a whole I was wondering if you could create any achievement in the game what would it be (criteria, rewards, etc)? Personally, I would keep mine with the current content. For any group that maintains a bleed effect on Ragnaros throughout the entire encounter would earn the achievement “On the Rag” and a pair blood soaked pantaloons. Additionally, you could get a debuff causing you to be cranky with anyone standing within a 30yrd radius.
Take care all and I hope to spend more time with you all in game in the near future!

Letter 5 ---------- August 9, 2011
From Reefberry
Dear Control Alt WoW,
I haven’t written since early July, but I have diligently listened to all the podcasts and enjoyed them all.
Lately there seems to be some kind of resentment or whiplash against not killing bunnies such as bunny recipes and subliminal kill the bunny messages. I think all that “don’t kill the bunnies” stuff needs some sort of release so I offer you the bunny cookie. I was going to type bunny “cracker” but I think that term could and would, be misconstrued too easily.

Now people can bite off bunny heads, and crush bunnies into dust, and enjoy the delicious taste of bunnies while releasing those pent-up bunny hostilities.

I finally broke down and bought my grandson a warcraft account. I know, I know taking on extra expenditures in this crappy economy…, but he’s not going to stop growing and wait for the economy to brighten. I just really want to share some fun time with him now. Who knows what will happen tomorrow. He’s a level 22 Tauren hunter and already his stable is full of pets. He just L O V E S collecting hunter pets and he hates questing. Jeepers, South Park’s Warcraft episode had it right for the young age group. Just kill 2 million boars.
Instead of forcing all the game rules into his cherished head, I’ve decided to learn to play in his world. During one of our weekend sessions he asked me to take him to Queen Smith. A few questions revealed he was referring to the giant spider in Stonetalon which he spotted while we were flying during a previous session. So for now I’ll be trying to enjoy the game through the eyes of a ten year old.

August 10th submission

Hola CAW crew,

Hope everyone is doing well, in and out of the game, homies! I wanted to let you all know that Kithorina hit 85 on Sunday. That was pretty exciting. Now I don't know what kind of character I should start next! Any suggestions, por favor?

Anyway, both Dreams and I hope you like this week's submission. We have Eljeppy and Tinock guest starring, while Dreams took voice lessons from Juuno.

Well, I better sign off before this gets too long....

For the Horde!

Inmyowndreams and Kithore of Earthen Ring, Dragonblight, and CoD

Rigarmorty Audio for Episode 228

Hi CAW Crew!

Attached is this weeks audio update. There's minimal sound effects again but I'm brainstorming for something more epic next week.

For the Horde, For the Alliance, For the HolyMorty!

Cheers,

Rigarmorty

Time for some ketchup!

Yes, I know ... it is a little odd that could be time for some ketchup, (although Pikachu would beg to differ) but considering that I haven't submitted anything for the past two shows it couldn't be avoided. So please forgive me, but this audio weighs in at a hefty 7 mins, 42 seconds. Enjoy!

A couple corrections for Episode 227

Hey CAW crew,

Felt the need to send a note in about the recent show… I am having trouble grasping how someone with 7 accounts can not know what races can be a shaman and then on top of that ask what their bird form looks like? Even if you only played Alliance, I would think someone that has that many accounts would be in game enough to see the various races of the Horde. Orcs, trolls, goblins and tauren can be shaman and druids have bird form for tauren and bat form for trolls; shaman have ghost wolf form to travel on the ground.

Also I needed to correct you all on the Death Knight Taunt. They have a spell called Dark Command, with an 8 second cool down and 20 or 30 yard range that is a taunt. Between Death Grip and Dark Command you have 2 taunts. I am not exactly sure if you learn Dark Command at a certain level (maybe around 65) or if it is a talent, but if you are a tank there is no excuse to not have that spell.

Perhaps it was the traffic I was sitting in while listening, but these stuck out in my head as needing correction. I dig the show and thanks for spending the time for our (my) enjoyment!

Emails

Guild Application

Thanks!
Sam

COD

Hey Caw crew. Neph here. Just wanted to get on here and say thanks to some ppl in the guild for the last week. Dreams and brewdog, thank you guys so much for the pvp running you did with me.
Also I want to thank tino. We ran arenas and got a few wins and some achievements. I had alot of fun.
Later in the week I got to run some instances with some other guildies and they were all awesome! I am very happy with my decision to transfer to earthen ring.
this week I decides to transfer my pally over and had to rename her. So, to make it simple I named her Nephindil. Ran some instances with some other guildies with her tanking. That was fun also.
Now I decided to start up a druid since I have not had one of them yet. it is a troll named Nephriit. Well I am off to do some house work because we are selling our house and moving to another. Ugh!!! The things we do to make our wives happy.
Later
Ty again for your awesome guild
