Ctrl Alt WoW Episode 73 - No Maintaince Tuesday is Okay

Aprillian and Ashayo discuss another week of playing World of Warcraft, Blizzard's great MMORPG.

Episode 73 - No Maintaince Tuesday is Okay

What We've Been Doing:

Aprillian

Aprillian Unlearned Primal Mooncloth, for 50g and learned Shadoweave for 20g and picked up 5 shadowweave recipes

Made macro/buttons to make twobox work for different character combinations

Spent Thursday morning getting pets over to the Alliance. They are selling like hotcakes. I wonder if it has anything to do with the latest info on pets in the Expansion.

Authenticator and 3 accounts are fun.

Aprillian made a Spellfire bag (28 slot enchanter) for Auntrillia and bought a 20 slot Enchanter's Satchel, from the vendor in Thrallmar for like 12g. She equipped the spellfire bag, and put the satchel in her bank, buying a new slot for 25g. So now Auntrillia can de to her heart's content

Saturday morning Triple boxed in Outland, completing some quests that Apriliian had and the other 2 had done, and then they did the pooh quest together and going into that mine

Aprillian dinged 63 and got to wear another piece of the Netherweave set, gloves. But then I noticed her shoulders were from 47 and so I got a new pair on ah. Saw her old gloves had 8+ stamina, so I ran Auntrillia around trying to find the enchant, until I realized it was from a knothide armor kit and Rilfire could make them.

Levelling Relaq, level 19 Warrior, in mining and bs. Easiest levelling ever I actually got from like 40 something to 178 without hitting a node, just smelting. And AI makes it a breeze because it tells me where mats are on each alt, on the account I'm on but if I link to other alts, it tells me their mats and also what's in the vault. I had been saving so much mats, that I felt rich. I only had to go to the ah for some silver and gold ore, but not much of that.
I was focused on the outlanders but I'm ambivalent.

Ashayo

Ashayo's Heroic night - Ramparts and Botanica

RFK - Server failure FTL. Lost blue necklace from rare bat spawn.

Levelling Shaman. But just duel-boxing with Jekle for heals.

Levelling Mage. Hit 40 last night. Tearing through SM
Mage quests - needed SM and Uldaman
Completed all of Dustwallow Marsh / Mudsprocket (including mage quest to kill level 40 elite demon - soloed :)
Intending to do every quest in STV!

Hey guys I love the show. I just happened on it and am in the process of getting caught up on some of the podcasts. My question is do you have one or two episodes that explain how to multibox? I have two accounts and always wanted to give it a try but wasn’t quite sure where to start. What type of system req’s do you recommend? How do you control both characters using only one monitor and one keyboard/mouse? Any recommended mods and or macro? What types of classes work well together? How do you select quests on both characters?

Sorry for the assault of questions, but it sounds like you guys are the multibox masters and I want to glean anything I can. Thanks again.

2nd Email:

Hey Aprillian and Ashayo its Triaa again sorry I missed last week, got busy with raiding and such. So this week I decided to bring you two addons. The first is a modification to your cast bar, It is called quartz. The advantage to using quartz is that it takes into account latency for when you are chain-casting spells allowing for maximum DPS for casters. Here is a link to download this addon: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7158/. The second addon I decided to feature this week is the chat addon which Aprillian comments on two episodes ago. It is called Prat and allows you to customize your chat windows even more. It removes the scroll arrows on your chat panel and allows you to scroll through chat by simply mousing over the box and using your mouse scroll wheel. Here is the link: http://wowui.worldofwar.net/?p=mod&m=4413. hope ya guys enjoy these addons, I'll be sure to have another one next week.

Email- Contest!

Hey guys!

Blade here...

I stumbled across your podcast after doing a "warcraft" search in the iTunes store... and find CAW to be a refreshing change. You actually sound like you enjoy the game, but don't come across as exceptionally techno-obsessed (the extra sound effects some podcasts have can get rather annoying and distracting)
... nor do you come across as 'leet experts in all things WoW'... you sound like your enjoyment of the game stems not from T4/5 or Arena Season 4 and end-game content, but rather from the experience of 'getting there'- and growing as individuals along the way.
In truth, I came to be searching the iTunes store after being led there by a website dedicated to tanking, as one of my alts (my warrior) has recently respecc'd protection
... and it was one of the few sites I could find that helped tanks not specifically obsessed with 'bleeding-edge' content and gear... for THAT reason, I put credence into what they had to say...
... which leads me to my alts, your contest and my 'unique and crazy' situation.
Like most players in WoW, I have alts.
I consider not one, but two characters my 'mains' (allow me to explain).
Bladetusk, 70 Orc Rogue, could be considered my 'main main' as 'Blade' is the moniker that I am known by within my guild; my 'main alt' would then be the aforementioned respecc'd 70 protection warrior, Bladeskull.
Rounding the list, is my 70 Mage (Greymalkyn), 65 Hunter (Wolftusk) and numerous baby alts including a baby shaman and baby druid who are acting as my bank and AH alts respectively... and there is one other who I will mention in a moment.
Now... I don't have many alts (not even as many as Ashayo, admittedly) but I *have* been playing them for a while... and because I do not at present dual-box, I leveled each of them one by one to the levels they sit at now.
For reference, ZG, AQ20, AQ40 and Naxxramas were but a twinkle in the developers' collective eyes when I started playing and even MC, BWL and Onyxia were 'fresh' enough content... I recently (masochistically?) did a '/played' on Bladetusk... and the number (approximately 37 or 38 days if memory serves correctly) doesn't seem like a lot... but if you figure one or two hours per night... 365 'nights' per year and 24 hours in a given day, then ol' Blade's been around quite a long time...

During all of this time, I have had plenty of opportunity to test and play just about every conceivable race/class/talent combination I can think of... and plenty of opportunity to realize what I prefer as a player (For the Horde!)... which leads me finally to my last alt and my own personal craziness.

Both my rogue and my hunter are my gatherers, and between them they gather every conceivable farmable mat... cloth, ores, fish, herbs, skins and motes from the clouds in Outland.
I particularly enjoy the hunter as it is an 'easy' class to play... often times, while I am farming (he's parked in either zangarmarsh or terokkar forest at any given time and I farm the bog lords and trees for herbs... breaking up the monotony of the grind to grab skinnable beasts or spiders for their netherweb silk.
Don't get me wrong... to play a hunter 'well' requires a certain amount of skill (the same can be said for any class) but I find I can turn off my brain when I play him... a nice relaxing time free from threat of dying... with his tanking pet, I only get concerned and use a heal pot when he's got more than 2 or 3 mobs on him at the same time... otherwise, it's a relatively effortless grind on my part.
I COULD make a great deal of effort (and some day still may) and learn the class exceptionally well and become an 'exceptional' hunter... but at this point in time, I prefer to save my focus for the rogue and the warrior...
And my other hunter.
Tahrzaan.
I decided I wanted to test my skill as a player and stretch my knowledge of the hunter class 'tricks' at my disposal... but not in the traditional way.
So I rolled a Blood Elf Hunter... called him 'Tahrzaan' and stripped him naked.
No clothes.
Not even a weapon more powerful than the weenie starting dagger (the 0.9 dps one).
Interesting? Crazy?
Your first thought might be 'So what? With a pet tanking and the hunter at range, there's little danger of dying ANYway... so what's the big deal?'
Wait for it...
His ranged weapon is a throwing knife.
Yeah. A hunter with no ranged skills to rely upon... (dagger crit for 25 damage ftw!)
and when he leveled to 20, I got a huge boost in his melee dps with the addition of his skinning knife as an off-hand...
And that's how he's stayed up to the present day and level 31 (and counting).
Right now, he's been doing the tauren kindergarden quests to gain enough rep for his kodo mount (as Horde can't ride elephants... kodo's are the closest thing), tamed him a cat from the Blood Elf newbie area (named Numa) and ran him all the way to Darkshore and managed to tame one of the spectral cats from the cat figurine idols (the ones near the nagas). That one's named 'Sabor'.
(All names derived from the books by Edgar Rice Burroughs).
I log into this toon when I tire of the hum-drum of leveling/grinding or doing daily quests or farming on my litany of alts... and I must say that it is an eye-opening experience.
Mana is all-important... traps become almost a necessity, and aoe attacks are far more dangerous now than they would be normally... heck... more than one attacking mob can NOW mean death if I'm not careful.

I have been called a 'noob', been told to 'put on clothes', and 'lrn2play' more times than I can count... but some people are nicer about their curiosity... they simply wonder 'why'.
So I tell them.
Anyone can play a hunter. It takes skill to play a hunter well. *I* plan to play this hunter well WITH his handicap - both to challenge myself and to prove that it can be done.

So in closing - as this has become much longer than I anticipated - it'd be great if I were selected in your 'wierd and crazy' alt contest... but even if it is not, it would be great to be mentioned in your email segment so that your listeners might be encouraged to think a little more 'outside the box'.
Examples:
- Gutrot the lv70 naked troll
- a pacifist priest that refuses to kill for xp
- survival hunters (like mine, but with armor and decent weapons)
- a warlock with no pet
- adventuring in the beginning (pre-BC) zones but staying on only ONE continent

Cheers for an awesome podcast guys!

Episode 72 - It's a Learning Experience
Aprillian and Ashayo discuss another week of playing World of Warcraft, Blizzard's great MMORPG. Full Show Notes at http://ctrlaltwow.com What We've Been Doing: Aprillian Shadowmoon Valley - fp Altar of Shatar is Aldor friendly. Sanctum of the Stars Scryer, woohoo. Aprillian is Scryer, I thought becasue they attacked Auntrillia, that they were alliiance. There's a tailor at the Sanctum that slells Pattern Imbued Netherweave Robe, which Aprillian didn't know and almost bought off the aha Thursday morning got obsessed with levelling Auntrillia in enchanting and getting Treshel to the alchemy lab at work I took Aprillian back to the voidwalkers. Good xp, safe, for the most part. Rode out to Winterspring on Auntrillia and picked up 34 felcloth and almost a 100 groms Ashayo Got my authenticator (Thanks Aprillian!) Only protects game and account management website - not, for example, armory login or forums. No confirmation of serial number! Prompts you for code even if you get the password wrong - so it's sending the account name first. Good and bad side to that. 2.4.3 patch - First chicken mount! Yay! Cool new animation for Warlock soul well. Cro Threadstrong's yelling at the Fruit vendor is now a pale yellow, not red. Glaciuss (frost mage) is levelling much faster with Asheal tagging along. Hit 35 and stopped to level Enchanting. Vision Dust is hard to find! Ended up buying lots of silk to make cloaks to disenchant. Once past that hurdle, easily attained the goal of 275, and promptly disenchanted a whole swag of level 68 gear. Asheal did a *good* PUG! Botanica, and got a nice set of leggings for an upgrade. AIE Raid on Gruul's Lair on Jekle. High King Maulgar down! Gruul still picking us out from between his toes. Asheal and Ashield complete all the Shadowmoon Valley group quests with the assistance of helpful guildies. Woot! Gorefiends Armor - don't use the life steal too soon! New Video Card - Replaced ATI Radeon x1950 with Radeon HD 4870 with 512MB RAM. Yay, no more video tearing! Starting writing my first mod, based on ACE2. Ctrl Alt WoW Episode 71 - Authenticator FTW

Aprillian and Ashayo discuss another week of playing World of Warcraft, Blizzard's great MMORPG. Full Show Notes at http://ctrlaltwow.com

Episode 71 - Authenticator FTW

What We've Been Doing

Aprillian

Triple Boxing in Outland - Farming Voidwalkers on Aprillian

Making loads of money on Horde Pets with my Ally Bank Alt

Sold another Primal mooncloth bag/need to make Shadow cloth Need to get to netherstorm

Did Broken Alliance for Iwari, level 47 Warlock, want to get her to 50, she's my engineer. Brought in Rilfire, level 61 Hunter/Skinner, and it was a piece of cake.

Friday, got the Blizzard Authenticator, easy to use. Started a 4th account I can summon! Started a couple of level 1's but I want to level them.

Bought Primal life on ah, noticed motes of life cheap on ah

Spent Saturday at work farming netherweave cloth in HFP with Aprillian. then at home had Rilfire and Aprillian doing the Stonebreaker quests. Rilfire is now behind Aprillian.

Can't get the hang of twobox
Took Aprillian back to tb to do marrowgrain and runecloth, still halfway to exalted

Sunday, did Shambling
Monday, back in Hellfire with Aprillian, Rilfire and Auntrillian fire bombing quest, failed miserable because of the time restriction

Monday night spent tons

Ashayo

Asheal and Ashield have been making their way through all the Shadowmoon Valley quests. Completed all but two
Gorefiend's Armor, which requires a group that is on the same quest (as it comes with an item that is required to see the mob - Vhel'kur).
Final step of "The Cipher of Damnation"

Spent 1.5hrs in Coilskar Cistern for one quest item for "The Cipher of Damnation". The quest requires an item from a chest that is a low drop rate. Worse, the chests are locked and requires a key which is also a random drop. And the key is one-use only.

Has been great for Scryer Rep. 3000 into Honoured, and haven't done any signet or arcane tome hand-ins.

Managed to solo "The Path of Conquest" group chain. The last part involved a timed quest to kill elite giants.

Ashayo did some more Arena PvP. Actually have enough points to buy a couple of items. Actually only won a couple of "real" fights. Came up against a 5-box shaman team (ouch), and a team called "loseforpoints" that just quit as soon as battle started.

Ashield got a world drop for [Ragesteel Shoulders] which was enough to prompt mass farming of ore to get Blacksmithing up to 375
Asheal had enough shadow cloth to make all of the Frozen Shadoweave set - more farming this time for primals, and levelled Tailoring to 375

Levelling one mage with Asheal. Much more fun!
When ungrouped, get majority of XP on the mage even if priest helps by healing.

Levelling Shaman - still getting scaled XP depending on amount of damage done when ungrouped.

1st Email:

Hey again Aprillian and Ashayo, Its Triaa again with a very long email. Well after the emails following mine suggested a majority of the addons I had planned to talk about I had to go digging through my 300+ addons, yes I spend way to much time looking on addon sites, to find one that I thought would be a great addition to any character. The Addon I decided on is Bongos 3 and Xperl Unit Frames. Bongos is an addon which removes the blizzard action bars and allows you to place action bars in any size or area of your screen which you desire, as well as simply then mousing over the bar and pressing the key(s) you would like to bind that action bar slot to if you use the keyboard to play. Although it may take two hours to configure, which seams like a long time the fact that you will more than likely enjoy the look of it so much that you never touch it again.(unless you are me, I am never satisfied with my UI and need to constantly change things) And Ashayo it too allows you to move and change the minimap :). Along with bongos I use a unit frames addon called Xperl Unit Frames. This addon takes the normal bars showing your health and mana and puts them in a sleeker, movable square format which makes your view a lot less crowded, the best part is, it allows you to have a moving 3D image of your character instead of a picture. Both of these addons are full of options that you can change. I will link to some of the pictures of my UI so that you can see examples. These can both be found on wowui.worldofwar.net the website I recommend for addons when getting it straight from the addon author is not possible.
bongos-http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info8419-Bongos3.html
xperl- http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info5248-X-PerlUnitFrames.html

To answer the question of why I do not prefer curse.com is because after being hacked a few months back, I take extreme precautions in everything I do. After scanning many of the addons downloaded off of curse.com I found them to contain key loggers and viruses.

And lastly here is my story about what I have done with my alts for the contest. A few weeks ago in a Karazhan raid I spent time switching between Triaa and Thayloo. Not only did I run both characters to the instance, I switched characters after almost every boss because of what each character needed off of the bosses. And a little side note, running into Orgrimar and sheeping people is quite a fen experience.

And here are the screenshot links:

http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/wowwarlock2/WoWScrnShot_050908_100926.jpg - UI showing bongos and Xperl
I couldn't leave out a pic on my Drake after seeing the shining moment of me hitting exalted now could I?
http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/wowwarlock2/WoWScrnShot_050908_155045.jpg - Me on my Drake :)
http://i306.photobucket.com/albums/nn274/wowwarlock2/WoWScrnShot_070208_215442.jpg - Lastly my current UI

As you can see bongos and xperl allow for many options the default blizzard UI doesn't.

2nd Email:

Hello again

One of my must have mods aside form the core mods of Gather, Cartographer, Auctioneer is a mod called PricePer.

When looking over auctions in the AH and you see for example a stack of 12 something going for 10 gold, PricePer breaks down the price per each unit in the stack so you know what is the cheapest stack if you looking to buy and what your competition is if you are trying to sell without having to breakout the calculator.

A word of caution on the mod that sells all your gray items at once. Every once in a while I will find a gray item that is in demand in the auction house. So if you mindlessly get use to vendering all grey items, you may miss an opportunity to make a nice profit.

Patrick

Ctrl Alt WoW Cast!

Thank you very much for answering my question on the most recent podcast! It's was great to have that answer there.

I have managed to figure everything out recently and have my personal account settled and ready to go, so the bright side is that I have my toons back. I have started an alt and kept dual boxing in the back of my mind, but I have decided to just single play my alt with a few friends instead.

I just wanted to submit my story for the WoW authenticator as well in this email. From what I understood you guys are asking for the craziest thing you have ever done an alt.

well I actually have two, but one is more background and one is more the story.

My alt situation in WoW has always been this. I am never able to actually keep an alt as just that. As I make an alt, I make it my main for the time being. Why? Because if I don't do this, In my head, I won't play him as much as I would like to. And since I love exploring classes, I would just make it my main for the time being.

As you can guess, this makes my friends on different servers very frustrated, as every time I would make an alt, I would tell them to send me tells there, and I could change toons anywhere from once a month to once a week! I would hit the toon very hard and be an avid player of that class, and then I would eventually burn out on it and roll something else or roll back onto my other toon!.

Well it eventually got to the point that I would just delete my "old main" (never level 70 at the time, but he would be somewhere in his 30's and I would remove it so that I could focus on this new "main"). As you can see, this creates a problem with progression, I would NEVER get past level 30.

So basically, I have had an alt that has reached level 30 of every class, every horde race and 2 of the alliance races. This basically creates a sort a boredom of the beginning zones, so for me, any alts I start (currently working on a rogue), I basically go crazy doing the first few lands zones because I have done them soo many times!

Now onto the "craziest" story - a few months back I decided to roll a hunter (again to replace my main, but at this point I had a 70 main!). Of course, it never actually replaced my main and remained to be an alt, however, I did manage to be completely into this character and was very serious as far as getting him a pet I loved and good professions and the like.

Now once he hit level 20, I decided to myself I wanted to find the most unique pet for that level to level up with me. This pet was going to be my level 70 pet, he was going to follow me all the way through. I knew I would grab a ravage if I made it to outlands but I would continue to have this pet with me for a long time.

I decided that I would get the ghost saber pet. This pet is available in Darkshore. So I took my female orc hunter, flew her to Barrens, walked myself up to ashenvale, grabbed both horde flightpaths, at which point I crossed the border into Darkshore, walked straight from very south darkshore all the way to the very top of darkshore where this cat could be found. However, if you have ever attempted to get this cat, you'll know that it isn't just a mob that is walking around. In order for this to work, you have to go into this land with a bunch of rubble spread over quite a big mass of land.

I didn't know much about the quest when I started it, so I dismissed my pet before I took off to get this kitty.... big mistake. In this land full of rubble, there are many, many naga's, all around level 20, that you have to pass in order to find a tiny cat figurine on the floor. Only one figurine spawns in this entire area at a time! once you find the figurine, you have to click it, loot it, and hope that a ghost sabre spawns. If it doesn't, you get a cat figurine loot piece, and then you are off to hunt the next figurine. I spent over 2 hours in one sitting trying to get this cat to spawn to no avail, all while sniping down naga's. I was forced to grind level 21 completely in this time due to the amount of nagas.

The next day, I went ahead and decided to give this hunting another stab. For those of you who play hunters, I was using the Hawk Eye spell repeatedly. I was using it to find certain high points to pan my camera around in search for this cat. After another hour of farming for this cat, I was unable to get the cat to spawn, and returned to my main for the time being. The next day, after about half an hour, I noticed that the servers were going down for rolling restarts! In desperation, I frantically searched for more figurines before the server went down. About 5 minutes before the server went down, I spotted one! I scrambled to get to the figurine, killing any naga's as fast as possible, finally reached it! I opened it up and hoped for a cat and there it was! I tamed it and 5 seconds later, the server disconnected me for restart... I waited for the restart, relogged in, and there was my beautiful ghost saber! The only cat that is translucent before you learn the spell prowl.

What really made me mad was when I logged in. Once I knew I had my cat, I noticed that there was a figurine right in front of me. I clicked it just for the fun of it, and another cat spawn! I was soo mad! IT took me over 50 figurines to get this cat to spawn, and then once I have him he spawns agaiin! Rediculous in my opinion! But that's my luck!

Anyways, that's my story, thanks very much for the answer again!

Oh and since I forgot to put a name last time (this is under my initials, I always forget), go ahead and call me Komish ( koh - mish)

What We've Been Doing

Aprillian:

Aprillian got the brazier and loves it. Still needs to get SW flame. Got obsessed with getting shoulders for level 2, well now 3 alt.

Ashayo:

Ashayo - Raid night: Gruul's Lair, Magtheridon, Karazahn all in one night

Asheal and Ashield started the quest lines in Shadow Moon Valley.

Mod for dual boxing: twoboxtoolkit http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7199-TwoBoxToolkit.html

2nd Toon:
/tb master <1st>
/tb sticky

1st Toon:
/target <2nd>
/followme

- Automatically accepts party invite
- Automatically accepts quests (so just share from master)
- Follow warning
- Relay chat messages
- and more!

Greatly reduces the need to switch to the 2nd toon's window!
The sticky follow ( automatically re-follows at end of combat ) is FANTASTIC!

Levelled Mages' Enchanting to 225 in order to DE a bunch of gear laying around.

Mages hit 30. Woot! Wait for patch now?

Started a Shaman and followed around with Ashayo (ungrouped)
Level 1 : 50 exp per kill if Shaman does the damage ; 15 exp if Ashayo assists
Level 10: 100 exp per kill if Shaman does the damage ; 50 exp if Ashayo assists
Experience varies depending on how much damage Ashayo does.

Emails:

Hey Aprillian and Ashayo its Triaa again finally, I am back from being out of town for a month and I've just recently caught up on all of the episodes and noticed your asking for examples of some useful addons. Aside from mages addons are my specialty so today I thought I would share some of my favorites with you over the next few episodes. The addon I have for today is a mage addon called sheep watch. To put it simply, this addon places a movable bar on your screen that appears when you sheep a target, and simply tells you how much time is remaining on your sheep. Sheep watch is great for raiding, instances, or everyday soloing. Being able to see how long is left on your polymorph is great for timing spells and resheeping. The only disadvantage to this addon is that you have to download it off of curse.com, because it is the only site that has an update version.

On another note I want to thank Ashayo for convincing me to start both a paladin and a shadow priest. I don't have two accounts so I can't see the duel boxing potential of this combination. My pally is 35 and my shadow priest is 28 I am enjoying leveling them both especially since the priest is the one class I had not played past 12 before this. Congrats on Episode 70 and I agree it is funny that the show is dinging before you. Keep up the good work, I hope to see another 70 episodes come from you guys.

If anyone has any questions you can email me at wowwarlock2@gmail.com.

Thayloo/Triaa lvl 70 Mage and Warlock

Email #2
After a long stream of bad luck in my World of Warcraft, I have found myself without an account to play on, with none of my 70 toons, and in a struggle to figure out what to do next. The story is to long to go into, but it really put me in a bad position.

I have decided to just give it another crack and start my grind to level 70 again, this time dual boxing. A friend of mine is giving me their second account that they have just sitting idle so that I have an account to call my own, and I am using my brother's for the Dual box toon.

I'm having trouble picking professions, however. I was hoping you could help me.

I am dual boxing two warlocks, and am planning on leveling up to pvp (not raid, though I may raid here and there, but PvP is the focus). It isn't for sure, but it is possible that my brother may quit playing by the time I round 70, so I may end up with one warlock only.

That being said, I'm going to still dual box my way up, and am wondering which profesions should I put on the second lock on teh account that may end up getting dropped. I want to be a miner Jewelcrafter on my main warlock. But I can't seem to pick something on the second. Skinning would be easy, so that is a choice, the other options I was considering was herb/alch but I don't think that would work wel since my method of Dual Boxing will not have me watching my second window of WoW so I won't be able to have track herbs up. I eliminated Tailoring because I didn't seem to justify leveling it for the 70 gear. Any suggestions?

Thanks guys and great podcast!

Comments:

Some other mods that you may have not discussed:
gatherer - keeps track of everything you find on any alt so you don't have to flip back and forth between mining and herbalism
autoprofitX - sell all grey items with one click. You won't believe how much nicer this is than the default way
RecipeRadar - shows you where you can buy recipes on your minimap
RecipeBook - keeps track of all your known recipes on all alts. When you come across a new recipe in the world, it tells you which alt knows it and which alt will be able to use it if they don't know it but have the skill
Postal/Postman/HandyNotes_Mailboxes - bunch of mailmods. Not sure which allows me to open all emails with one click so I'm using them all. Great time saver if you're doing a lot of AH

Hey guys Auho (Ah hoe) here.

First I would like to say I love the show. I wrote in today to tell you about a mod that i use that helps me keep track of my talent specs on all my different alts. The mod is called talented, ( http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/9159/ ) with it you can save talent specs so you have a template to follow when you are leveling up. You can either put the talent spec in manually or you can import a spec from blizzards talent calculator. Doing this has helped me keep all my alts straight in my mind. Also I was just wondering how many level 70's does Ashayo have? Keep up the great work and thank you for the podcast.
