Contest 1
Greetings all. My favourite Timeless Isle activity would have the be the rope challenge, trying to get the chest. I love stuff like this ever since i started playing guild wars.
Blizzard would do we to make this more available in game.
The other favourite activity would be trying not to get killed every single night by other players. Especially my own faction.. The thing they like to do is to say that the rare is up in the cave, so people can go in and get ganked. I smile everytime i see it come up in chat.
Must dash my new Aerie Peak toon is awaiting.. Micromist.. im coming !!!!!!!

Contest 2
Hail and well met!
I was listening to last week’s podcast and realized I had something useful to share about my experience on the Isle. Pay attention here, take notes, print this out for future reference. When you make your way to the Timeless Isle, there are some things you need to be ready to do:
1.) Have the Add On Handy Notes and the Timeless Isle mix-ins for it. This will let you know where and how to find the various chests on the isle.
2.) Herb, Skin and Mine everything you get the chance to do.
3.) Do your daily cool downs for cloth or leatherworking, or whatnot.
4.) If you don’t have equipment that’s higher than iLevel 496, start upgrading as you get the various armor pieces you can upgrade. You should get plenty of them over time. As you get duplicates, keep 1 duplicate of each slot. (This is important for later!) Beyond the 1, unconverted duplicate, convert the pieces and sell them for cash if you don’t have other characters you can mail off to for use or to convert and sell.
5.) As you collect Burden of Eternity, you will use these on the extra duplicates you are saving for another level of upgrades! You’ll have a set of iLevel 496’s you’re wearing, then you’ll replace them with the equipment you create by using the Burden of Eternity on. When you use a Burden of Eternity on an unconverted Timeless Armor piece, it creates an iLevel 535 armor piece! (Save your cloak for last, especially if you’re doing the epic quest for an Epic Cloak. Otherwise, use a Burden on it as well.)
6.) When you are equipping iLevel 535 pieces, you’ll consider spending Valor Points here to upgrade these items twice.
7.) Do LFR looking for weapon upgrades! (Upgrade these with Valor Points as well if you’ve looked in Mr. Robot and you have the highest option you can get from LFR or Crafting, or as close as you can.)
8.) While you’re doing your thing, opening chests, be sure to get your daily/weekly quests from around the sunken pit and work those. As you collect Timeless coins, you can either play it safe and buy items from the vendors on either side of the Emperor, or you can buy keys and have a chance to get Burdens out of the chests in the cave that you’ve heard people talking about.
So, that’s my recommendations and experience from the Timeless Isle. Now, get out there, run around, do your stuff, have fun, gear up! Woot!

Tiber's WoW October
(From Tiber)
Greetings, Aprillian, Leeta, Rogueslayer and Tedrah!
I hope everyone is healthy, and happy in, and out, of game. I've had an extra-eventful few weeks of WoW this month I'd like to tell you about.
As soon as Donnie announced the CAW Guild activity contest a few weeks ago, I knew I wanted to chase that. Since I've never leveled a Monk, and none of my high level characters are Forsaken I rolled Tirisfel, and then bankrupted Tiber buying Heirlooms.
The Monk is a blast to play, especially at low level, with heirlooms (very OP). Though it really was pained me to see that purple XP bar every day. While leveling Tirisfel I completed the whole Forsaken Front story line for the first time, and it really is a good story. Tirisfel also completed the zone questing achievments for Silverpine, Arathi, Western Plaguelands, Tanaris, Un'Goro, and Silithus.
Grats to Matta for first place!! I tried to keep up, but he just kept pulling away from me, even when I was on at the same time! Many Thanks for the second place prize Donnie! The Blossoming Ancient Pet is really cool, and I don't have anything else like it
.
That same week, I went to Timeless Isle on Tiber, with the Juuno-Pixie Friday raid gang. It was great fun, and sillinesss. Running in a gang on the Isle, slaying stuff is a blast! Sorry the guys in Tiber's party had such high repair bills. I'd be watching the team... no damage... no damage...BAM-DEAD... wait, WHAT happened ??
That next evening, Holmes hosted the Find-Me event in Silvermoon. That was good fun, and I think we may have stunned the players, and NPC's in Silvermoon with all our noise, and activity. I was so busy running around searching for the hidden mage, and finding scavenger hunt items, that I didn't note who the main event winner was (not me :D). There were many contests though, and I think everyone won something. I won codes for a Paint Bomb, and a Grell Pet. Thanks so much, this has been my best pet collecting week ever.
Early last week I finally dinged 90 on my mage, and got the Quintessential Quintet, and Double Agent achievements.
Lastly, and far from least, I went with the Friday Raid group into Mogu'shan Vaults. With Grand Nagus's direction we killed the first boss The Stone Guard, on our second try. We also came very close to killing the second boss Feng the Accursed in one try. Unfortunately, we had to go our seperate ways before we could try again. Before I logged for the night, I checked my game calender and saw something unfamiliar... a raid reset for Tuesday.
All-in-all October has been a huge month for me in game. Thanks to all the CAW guildies for making the World of Warcraft game even more fun than it already is.
For the Newbie Raiders! Tiber
Hello C.A.W crew,
Been quite a while since my last email. Its amazing how time slips away from you. Good news is the gap has left me with a bunch of stuff to update.
Might as well get all the pet battle related stuff out of the way first. Over the last few weeks I managed to get both the Raiding with Leashes II and Pro Pet Mob achievements. I know there are several pet leveling guides across the internet, but what I did was battle the aquatic pets near Mistfall Village. There are tons of level 24-25 pets and they respawn quickly. Being aquatic pets their opening attack is almost always a heal or buff so you can bring in low level pets and not have to worry about them being knocked out in the first round. Put on your safari hat and bring a couple flying pets to do the actual work and let the XP roll in.
A couple weeks back Moonfang began stalking the Darkmoon Faire and I was lucky to snag Moon Moon after only a couple fights which was much easier than i was expecting. Feeling I should press my luck I decided to resume my grudge match with Jeremy Feasel in hopes of getting something besides expired pet food or hairballs. The RNG gods must have been smiling on me that day because I found a shiny new Darkmoon Eye inside of my pet supplies bag. Now I just need that blasted rabbit to complete my pet collection on Darkmoon Isle. My pet collection now stands at 546 unique pets and I'm still not done. Honestly I hope to never finish...
As with may others, I've spent a good chunk of time on the Timeless Isle. Of course I'm still hunting for a few pets and I'm drowning in timeless gear, but at least I've got a Thundering Onyx Cloud Serpent to show off. Honestly though I am getting a bit weary of the place and the last thing the game needed was another rep grind.
Now for my non-pet related in-game goal. While digging around looking to acquire a Crawling Claw (which I finally did by the way) I noticed that I am only four artifacts away from completing The Seat of Knowledge. This achievement rewards the title "Seeker of Knowledge" which I think sounds pretty darn cool. I know the odds are kind of stacked against me as in there is know way to determine what artifacts pop up in your archaeology queue let alone the chance of them being the "pristine" version you need, but I'm a patient guy and i think the profession is actually pretty fun.
OK this email has gone on a bit longer than I planned. Hopefully I'll get in the habit of sending you guys more frequent updates (more than once a month at least). If i don't get a chance to catch the live recording, have a good show and I'll catch yall in Azeroth.
Regards,
Ularand of Eldre'thalas
Alztraj of Earthen Ring
PS - Yeah i know the two name thing is kinda confusing. I just don't want anyone to think I've abandoned the Alliance completely
For the candy buckets
Sorry not much to report this week but here’s my audio please enjoy and sorry for the coughing fit mid audio.

Hello Ctrlaltwow Crew
It has never happened that I write to you 2 weeks in a row but I come bearing a gift.
I won the top 25 in Guild activity competition we had last week in the game. I won an Armored Bloodwing and I thank Donnie for the gift. I already have this mount so I thought I would give it to you Ladies to give away.
You might be able to have a competition of your own and get somebody to make you a new Email bumper.
Anyway I love the new line up. You Ladies are awesome. Have a great week.
Sincerely Matahorn
Ps I must thank Donnie for letting me give away my prize.
