Grand Nagus:
Final Fantasy XIV

Event ending on Nov. 27

New Tomestone
Allagan tomestones of mnemonics will be added, which can only be obtained after reaching level 100 with at least one class or job.
Interview with YoshiP:
China and South Korea will catch up with the global release schedule with patch 7.4 and 7.5 respectively.
That means everyone playing the game, regardless of location, is on the same release schedule as of 7.5.
That will cause more work for SE, since more localizing needs to be done at the same time.
No more regional special items are supposed to be released.
Special event items have been a thing for years, as well as attire limited to specific regions.
KFC special event Emote in Japan comes to mind, or the new mount that got released on the Online Store last week, that was a Chinese region special event item until last week.
Jaffa Cake progress:
Jaffa got her nightgown as the first Moogle event reward.
Got one more Savage mount, this one from O12S.
Reached Rank 18 on the Island Sanctuary and upgraded one more building type.
Finished the GC squadron achievement and got the four emotes.
AprilPvd in VR:
No Man’s Sky

I came across this cool multitool while on the expedition 2 redux. it’s at the space station where Rendezvous three is located. One side of the vending area has a this multitool. The other side has a different one. It doesn’t have many slots and no supercharged slots, but it is cool looking.
So cool that I wanted it on April Pvd so I went back into the expedition went to rendezvous number three and she was able to get the multitool.
Saw this video Sunday on how to get this particular multitool.
This is the Easiest Alien or Experimental S Class Multi Tool in No Man's Sky!
Well, on the subject of multi tools, I thought that the only way to get rid of a multitude was to swap it out when you got a new one. Then I was watching something on YouTube about multi tools.
Multitool Types Explained in No Man's Sky.
When he casually mentioned about how you can scrap your multi tools. I did not know this. I don’t know how I missed this, but when you go upstairs in the anomaly where the the round pad that lets you teleport up to get to the teleporter right there on the right is a machine that lets you scrap multiple tools and if they are a high enough quality, you will get a multitool augment maybe even two. This just blew my mind.
I posted about this in the Facebook group and someone asked me about glyphs. No when I do a screenshot on VR I don’t get a really good screenshot so I don’t really take them and I kind of guess I miss out on the glyph thing. What I will do sometimes is login on my laptop and get the glyph which I did this time. And out of curiosity I took Epril to the space station. Of course April Pvd is the only one of my accounts that has all the lists and can use a portal, but it’s so easy to have them join me wherever I am. So she was able to get the multitool.
This opened up a whole new thing for me because whenever I’m in an expedition, there are things I like about certain planets I find and I thought that I couldn’t ever find them again but

Epril’s turn
Shirty posted this video on YouTube a couple of days ago and the detail on how to find it was perfect.
No Man's Sky | Ship Hunting 029
April Pvd went there and got the ship and then traded it to Epril.

Friday night I started my fourth expedition number two redux. E was all set up. I loaded her with all the things she needed. She was able to get through the first phase quickly. You get your fighter and you have to do some repairs remembering to use the repair kits for the harder things to get. Another YouTube video doing a walk-through talked about the fact that you could approach the pilots that have landed in your freighter starship Bay and buy stuff off of them.

Of course, by the time we do the podcast, the expedition will be over. But these guys are great resources for future ones.

Sunday
So I’m busy now making copies of all my ships and now that I know about the multitudes, I’m putting my multi tools in stores making copies and then breaking them down for more augment.
As I was trading in ships and moving stuff around and destroying multi tools, I have acquired a lot of modules that are only worth 16 nanites when I sell them to a vendor, and I was finding that I had a lot of duplicates or upgrades that I no longer needed. I discovered something that is really handy to know. When you hover over a technology, it will tell you what it will break down to if you destroy it.

2 Magnetic Resonator 50 Platinum 100 Tritium
Sometimes you may need the resources more than you need the 16 nanites. So when I find out that I have a duplicate of a technology in my storage. I can then remove the technology from the ship/EXO suit/multitool by dismantling it, and getting the resources and then replacing it with a duplicate that I have in my inventory.
Monday
Spent some time making sure everybody had enough copies of the ships they bought from the expedition. Sebastian had a C class freighter so we went shopping and found an S class. I used one of his sentinel ships for his squadron. But the second time I tried to trade one it wouldn’t let me. The option to add pilot to squadron after I traded the sentinel ship wasn’t there.
April Pvd and Aprillian finally went to check on their settlements. All three of April Pvd’s were under attack. But the nicest thing was that there was stacks of resources available. I thought maybe they would stop making them if I didn’t collect them. Aprillian upgraded some buildings on her two settlements. She progressed the traces of metal quest line and now has to go destroy a sentinel pillar.

April Pvd worked on her tiny sentinel ship.

Created a Corvette for Epril

Weird weird problem in that I’m seeing an outline in Steam. It started with a weird box and then I went to virtual desktop to see if that would prevented. I finally was able to make the outline kind of go away by going into the steam VR settings, but in virtual desktop, there was still a smaller box on the floor. I don’t know where it came from all of a sudden, but it was weird and distracting.

Greetings CAW Crew!
Apologies for lack of audio this week, real life has been quite hectic and I just didn't get time to visit the dungeon.
I've been continuing to play Guild Wars 2 - End of Dragons expansion though I'd gone back to Path of Fire content to farm the rest of the Hero Points which you use to unlock elite specializations. Having been playing as Engineer Scrapper Spec for the last few expansions, I had the itch to swap over to Holosmith which is different but also fun.
Quoting the GW2 Wiki "Holosmiths have learned to use zephyrite crystals to construct their Photon Forge, a device capable of turning the light of the sun into weapons of hard light to cauterize their enemies. The Photon Forge heats up with use, becoming even more effective. But reckless use will end in overheat, which damages the holosmith and prevents the usage of the Photon Forge until it cools down."
It's got some cool visuals and you go a sort of translucent blue colour when you activate your photon forge.
Anyway, slow progress gaming wise but life will settle down here before long.
Cheers,
Rigarmorty
Good day all! Hope you are all well?
So I’ve been working on increasing my XP bonus on Legion Remix! I am approximately around 150%+ (including the Anniversary +10%). I am a little late on starting this bonus grinding, but better late than never!
At level 70 (with my first 80) I got a quest which increased my bonus XP by 250%, which is crazy! I’m not sure if it stacks, but that would now make it around 400% bonus in total!
Anyway.. this has inspired me to roll more Alts, of course! "One of us, one of us!"
The 21st Anniversary started a couple of days ago.. which made me reminisce about my first ever character, a Gnome Warrior. I started playing 2/3 months after the launch of vanilla.
So, in honour, I started a new Gnome Warrior (Khurick the Butcher). I have played him for a couple of hours and he is currently level 34!
I have also been checking out the new WoW 21st Anniversary event. So far I’ve only bought the re-vamped Paladin Judgement Armour (which is amazing!) ..and some Sunglasses!
Some new mounts I’ve collected this week, the Frostshard Infernal (a reward for collecting 350 mounts), the Cloud Wing Hippogryph, the Wild Dreamrunner and Ghastly Ur’zul [screen shots attached].
I have also bought some of the Legion transmog sets, which are very nice, especially the Paladin Raid sets!
Anyway..
Hope you are all well?
Take care,
Kep!
