Ctrl Alt WoW Episode 840 - Ctrl Alt No Man’s Sky

No Man’s Sky

Figured out a lot of things in game about the Corvette. Getting it together. Decorating the rooms for SS April Pvd.

I didn’t understand what it meant to add something to your wonder but it’s kind of cool because you can replicate your most interesting find inside your printer or your Corvette or your base using the wonder projector.

I’ve decided to collect living ships to a store in my freighter Bay for my Alt because I have no need for regular ships anymore. It’s Corvettes all the way.

But my alt cannot get them because she has not done the quest so I’ve been getting them on my main and then trading in a space station with an NPC. I ended up “ruining“ a couple of void eggs. I was actually looking for a living frigate, but I had the void aid in my inventory.
So I ran out of void eggs and ended up asking for some in the anomaly. I got one. But then I ended up having to do the weekend quest to try to get more Quicksilver. It’s so silly because I know I can do a glitch and get more, but I don’t wanna play that way.
I’m upgraded both of my freighters with all the modules they can take.
I went out looking for some living frigate. All I get. Are someone asking me if I want to catch a boy day but it won’t take it. Are you ended up destroying the egg and all I’m still getting when I use my anomaly detective someone looking for avoiding so I spent most of Monday running Nexus missions to try to get enough quits over to buy another void egg. I also left a tune in the anomaly, begging for void eggs.

HOW TO BUILD LARGE ROOMS FOR YOUR CORVETTE IN NO MANS SKY

Good day Ctrl Alt Wow, NMS and FF Crew!

So this week has been a busy week and weekend at work.. ah well..

I have however, managed to get some play time in on WoW, although this does mean an early start (3:30am!). I have been doing some Battle Ground: Comp Stomp for the PVP tokens, where I have obtained some nice classic PVP pieces.

Hallow’s End has started, so I have been collecting Candy Buckets from various places around the world to save up for the new Hallow’s End transmog gear.

The New Headless Horseman’s Mount has not dropped for me yet, but I am living in hope it will drop within the next two weeks *fingers crossed*

I have been on Legion Remix quite a lot, I’m really enjoying it! I’ve also been levelling on Hardcore Mode! The mobs hit HARD!! I am really enjoying the challenge though! Plus the rewards on Hardcore Mode are better!

I have only one new Mount this week, ‘Meeksi Teatuft’ (which I bought on offer at the store).

I do have a good amount of Legion Remix Bronze saved up to buy more mounts, but haven’t got round to it yet..

Unfortunately, I've got a toad stuck in my throat this week but I've included some audio filler content. It's the Forsaken Food segment from my old podcast Blight Night episode 0. I did all the intro and sound effects and everything myself.

It's been a bit of an off weekend just barely dipping into NMS and GW2 but having binged on a chunk of Star Trek over the weekend, I'm ready to dive back into NMS as soon as I'm a little better and work settles.

Ctrl Alt WoW Episode 839 - Bye Bye Expedition No. 19

Rank 10/20 reached,very close to Rank 11.

Caught 19/20 animals for my pasture.

MSQ:

Jaffa finished the first three zones of Dawntraii, including flight unlock in each of them.

About half way through the fourth zone were i collected all the aether currents.

PvP:

Reached 24/60 victories for the second PvP horse mount.

Looking at a glam around a robe I looted from an Alliance Raid. It’s not dyeable so I have to find items that fit the colors of that item to work with. This is what i came up with:

I finally got to the stage of the Heavensward Scholar Relic Weapon i want. There are two more stages, but i don’t care about them for glam, just to complete the achievement and get the minion you are awarded for finishing your first Relic.

I ended up settling for an A class pirate freighter on my alt.

Watch this video and figure out how to do the same thing on one of my Corvettes and it is amazing. I had tried to make a deck just using the stairs, but this changes everything.
Met up with Rigamorty and showed him my “cruise ship”.

Alt

I got my squadron the way I wanted it. Two blue and two yellow starships. I can’t wait for my next battle.

Went back into that settlement building and found a different multitool. Kind of cool.

Same settlement building has a different multitool this time.

Multi boxing took my alt to where I can get runway mold, and that worked out really well.

I picked up a couple of more vehicles from the expedition to strip down. Gonna check later on Monday night to see if I can get any more or if the expedition is over and that means you can’t get anymore.

Had plenty of gaming hours this past week while I was off for my level up day. Admittedly, I spent most of the time in No Man Sky. Was very cool to see AprilPVD in game and many thanks for helping me out with my Corvette ship!

So Brewfest is finally over.. however, Legion Remix has started! I was a little confused how it all worked at first.. but now I’ve got to grips with it and I am having lots of fun starting various new characters and trying to collect all the new mounts, transmogs and weapons etc!

I have finally unlocked the Earthen Dwarves (Allied Race). It was a bit of a grind, but very much worth it! I now have Horde Dwarves, which is very cool! So far I’ve started a Earthen Paladin, Monk, Mage and warrior!

The new mounts I've collected this week are, the Treetop Highmountain Eagle, Slate stone Ramolith, Earthen Ordinant’s Ramolith, Gloomdark Nightmare, Void-razed Elekk, Snowy Highmountain Eagle, Golden Sunrunner and the Chestnut Course [screen shots attatched]

Many of these are collected from Legion Remix..

Island Sanctuary:

Think of the Island sanctuary as a kind of garrison-like feature in WoW.

Rank 9/20 reached, last rank before flying on the island.

Coming off of a two day rest period, after reset, of the workshops.

You can set the rest days (2 per week) yourself, but they need to be there,

and since the guide i use uses the first two days of the week, after reset, for

rest days, i’ve started doing that too, only makes sense that you adapt to the

Guide you use.

Caught 18/20 animals for my pasture so far. I start by filling up the pasture with animals I can get, so I can collect the items from them, and modify the loadout as i go.

I have a list I go by and I'm modifying the loadout as I gain access to the areas where specific animals are located or, if they are rare, when they show up.

MSQ:

Jaffa got done with the first bit of the first and second zones of Dawntrai.

Every expansion has six zones

Did the first few blue quests for flight unlock in both zones too.

Found a multitool in one of my buildings in my settlement.

I have two settlements on my alt, one is full of sentinel. I’m wondering if maybe I just need to take them all out, but it just seems like the more you fight them the more they come back, bro I can get in and out without engaging.

Playing my alt a lot this week. I got her squadron up to four with all exotic ships.

Kept forgetting which building I had upgraded, so I started putting down affordable refiners in front of the building after I added the mats.

I got obsessed with getting a pirate freighter so I’ve been jumping and jumping and battling and battling in the highest I’ve come up so far on my alt is a B class. I am loving the

Found out that I can divert power by pressing the right thumbs stick in VR and it will cycle through being able to divert power. On the PC it’s the / and it’s d pad on the controller.

I haven’t mentioned this, but there are times when I have to adjust my view and it took me a little bit to figure it out, so maybe it might help someone else.

Multi Boxing

I have two steam accounts and when I started out making an alt, I would just switch accounts but then I wanted to be able to give something to my alt and found out that I could not be on both accounts. I have a sharing plan on my Steam account that allows me to share my games, which is nice and must come in handy for people with family members or roommates who play games. I was at the anomaly on my alt when I realized I had enough quicksilver to buy a bobble head. But as I was looking down the Quicksilver menu, there were a few items that said are available. It looks like if you have bought it on one account that’s connected you can have it on the other account which is kind of nice.
