Achievements
“Murlocs, Harpies, and Wolvar, Oh My!”, “Ragnaros, Watch and Learn”, “Master of Magic”, Religiously practice any pet battle to advance the meta achievement… played everyday pet battles since patch 7.1, missed 4 days, have 3 characters at max to triple down on a trainer for the day. Chopped is the trickiest because it requires progress with the nightfallen rep, the Varenne NPC will talk to you but will not allow you to pet battle him if you have not completed a certain part of the suramar quest line: Varenne is yellow NPC if you’re not attuned to him, there is also a stealth detector really close to where he is, so you’re in constant combat if you are not currently pet battling or have the disguise to look like a suramar elf. Progress on each achievement for the pet battles stacks across your account on alliance side anyway, a few quests on the DK, a few quests on the rogue, and a few quest on the warlock to cap… 37 odd quest for pet battles, only 15 trainers help the 12 needed per achieve. If you do this on a single character I would estimate that you have to spend about 200 days to complete this achievement. Somedays you get 3 trainers, other days you get none or the same trainer you cannot complete because you’ve battled him with all 10 different pet families already. Tuesday and Wednesday require you to login, because some of those trainers will not spawn on the weekend at all, regardless how often you log in.
AH woes, nothing sell, buy “EVERYTHING!!!”, new raid content is the queue for constantly falling prices of all raw materials, pets and other hard to come by commodities. Little bit of time to play everyday so definately do Cooldowns on my 4 alchemists on 3 different servers.
I'm a long time WOW player and started listening to Control Alt Wow a long time ago. I can't even remember when I started. The bulk of my listening was during the time period Vrishna was on the show. I took a break from WOW and WOW podcasts during Mists of Pandaria, then off and on after that. I listed to your show while Leeta was a cohost and at that time wondered where Asheo, Jeppy and Vrishna went. When Legion was launched I started playing WOW much more regularly and so resubscribed to all my old podcast, one of which was yours. A few episodes ago you mentioned Vrishna had passed away. I was very sad to hear this news. This past weeks episodes brought tears to my eyes when you guy spoke of an event you had in game to honor Vrishna. Somehow I missed what happened. Was Vrishna's death sudden or was it after a long illness. I think sometime we forget the people on the other end of the characters on the screen are actual human beings. Hearing of Vrishna's death really brought this home for me.
Very sorry for your loss but admire your strength to continue on.

Hello Control Alt WoW!
Sorry for not having an email last week. This past week and a half can only be described using adult language and multiple words of profanity - one of the many things gone wrong is that we have had no internet at home from last week Thursday until this week Thursday. Our internet service company is <profanity word> and unfortunately we have no other choice for DSL service, and we all know how satellite or cell phone internet with their data caps just doesn't work for us WoW gamers.
This week I have clips from episode 287. I hope you enjoy them :)

Guild Updates: Friday, 1/13 - Saturday 1/21
Hi everyone - Here are this week's guild updates! The "Frozen" frenzy has concluded (I managed to have one make it onto the final qualifying board!), and Lunar Festival has arrived! I'm shuttling each of my challenge toons (except the bloodthirsties, of course) around to any elder they can safely reach and grabbing that XP! Perhaps someday I'll roll back around to playing current content. Maybe. We'll see... Enjoy!
