No Man’s Sky

Before I get started, I just want to talk about the gaming aspect of this new pet battling system. It’s really just a different way of releasing endorphins. And while I am loving the challenge, some of it doesn’t work well for VR. I don’t know what they could’ve done as far as maybe put me in the arena with my pet instead I’m just looking at a screen that I could have on my phone. But otherwise I am really enjoying it.

Wednesday

Spent a lot of time battling and I’m getting my numbers up.

Since I’m flying around all over the place between going to different arenas and going back to where my bases are to hatch eggs I’ve been summoning my Freddo more. It’s very handy. I don’t know why I don’t do it more often. Sometimes I felt like I was leaving my fighter somewhere. I wanted to come back too. One time when I landed in my fridge or I looked over and saw this ship. I probably need to put it in storage because I haven’t done anything with it yet and I think I’m at my limit. But I was at a space station doing a battle and when I finished, I looked over and saw it and had to buy it right away. I probably should switch it up and make it my main because it has a unique color palette

I I battled three pets to level 30 and then I saw a YouTube video that showed the fact that if you are battling low pets, they level up really fast and I didn’t realize this. So I pulled out two of my triple S pet and boy was he right.

The two pets on the right were zeros when I started.

Thursday

Spent the day battling with April Pvd. I did bring Sebastian out for a little bit, but I was obsessed with getting my milestones on April Pvd. Found out I’ve been doing eggs sequencing wrong. Picked up some new pets from Facebook and the YouTube video.

I’m facing a weird dilemma now because it is silly to do pet battles in VR. So I’ve been doing it on my MacBook Pro where I can sit down. But I’ve also been chasing pets which is harder to do for me on flatscreen because I can’t operate the keyboard for movement as well and I can’t see. I was doing a pet battle and watching a YouTube video and there was a really cute pet that I wanted to get. But when I got to the planet and I scanned for it, the terrain was hilly and on the flatscreen I keep getting turned around as to which way I’m facing, but when I’m in VR, I can see everything I can look around and see the landscape.

Saturday

Getting more and more obsessed about getting SSS pets. Went out to farm some runway mold I’m gonna so I could get some more lemonade to open up all my spots.

I got a couple of new pets and I did some championship battles, but there’s really no need to level any more pets until I optimize the pets that I’ve gotten. By optimizing I mean putting their eggs in the sequencer and then getting their stats up to 100%. But what I wanna know is if the eggs of the eggs at 100% are 100%. It’s very complicated. But it’s a lot of fun and it’s interesting and I love it so much.

I tried to stream on the flatscreen because I was just doing pet battles and I wanted to sit down. But I couldn’t get the sound right I’m not getting sound from the game because it’s all set up to work with my quest, three headset and casting. I’m always nervous about changing anything.

Sunday

Started the day finishing up the egg sequencing I had started last night. I also watched this guy’s YouTube channel for animals and I found the animals that I have been looking for.

I saw a Challenger use it and I wanted to use the same one. I had seen another video that said to check out the planets in the same system to find them, but I couldn’t find that and I found it on this video plus another one. This guy was hitting all the ones I’ve been looking for. so while I was doing the eggs, sir, I would just take a picture of the glass when he showed them and save them for when I’m when I go into.

was following the directions and the information on some YouTube about how to maximize your triple S pet. And it seems to be the understanding that if you get the egg up to 100% then you get a better pet. It has something to do with the chances of it procing certain moves by itself. it’s a lot of boring work standing at the eggs sequencer and trying to put in the right ingredients with the aim of getting 100% inherited. But I just couldn’t get this one right. The way you test it is you hatch the egg after making a save point with your ship. Which was frustrating for me because my ship was on the wrong side of the parking lot in the anomaly. And then you hatch the egg and look at the stats.

The whole idea is if you didn’t get the stat you wanted, you would restore your last save point and then try again, but I couldn’t get gentleness or aggression right so I gave up. But I had helpfulness at 100% and devotion at 100%. And because I had hatched my 30th eggs, I also got the bonus egg from Oceanus. I decided to try again with one of my mechanical pets, but when I went to put the egg into the sequence, I noticed that I had three of them and I also had one that I had already hatched. I wasn’t doing any glitch. I was just at the anomaly and I ended up with duplicate eggs so I logged Sebastian in and went to him and gave him some of the eggs. And then I took him for some battles. But I really just wanted to get back on April Pvd, and do some more egg stuff with her. But I was having problems because sometimes when I’m passing with the update of the quest three the casting just stops it’s very very annoying so I decided to just record some video with my headset with the video recorded was awful.

So here’s pinky and her daughter or their child. It seems like it’s not even good enough to get an SSS you then have to take the egg and get the traits to 100% and that will prop different things so I worked on this and I even added something to the color. I think I’ve thrown some gold and something else and it did change the color which is kind of me. I don’t know if I’ll regret it later, but I did abandon the original pet. Of course I can always hatch this pet when it gets bigger and then that one won’t need any upgrades. It’s crazy. It’s a lot of work, but I am really enjoying it now. I just gotta get eggs from all of my pets and do the same thing. It doesn’t even matter to Battle right now until I can get the egg of the pet.

Someone brought up an interesting point on the Facebook group that it doesn’t seem to matter about battling people because everybody’s just gonna have really good pets. This got me thinking about pets for my other three characters. And now I am kind of glad that I didn’t do much on my other characters because the best way would be to just have April Pvd get her SSS pet to 100% in their traits and then she can just give everybody eggs from that pet. Of course I don’t know yet if the eggs from pet with hundred percent trait will automatically give pet with 100% trait, but I will find out tomorrow. There may be some difference in different traits as well.

After my VR workout, I spent most of my day on my MacBook Pro either pet battles or at the egg sequencer .

After I get a pet’s traits to 100% and hatch the egg abandoned the original pet and rename the new pet with the acronym of the trait. I hope this works that I can remember this. My ultimate goal, of course is to give eggs from these pets to my other characters.

That’s a lot of pet battling

Spent the day leveling the second generation of SSS class pets. Also hatching eggs from the first generation and putting them in the egg sequencer which used that a lot of resources. I actually had to go out and grind some more ferret dust and carbon. I also expanded some of the bases because I’m gonna wanna go back to where I caught the SSS class pets so that I can hatch more eggs after their traits are leveled up. During the battles, though I found that the hundred percent traits really did the trick because it made the pets proc unique things on themselves like healing or increasing their agility or putting up a shell. Of course, I am taking the easy way by just increasing the traits that they currently have to 100%. If I wanted to do a deep dive, I would experiment with capturing different pets at the same place and comparing the traits. I also moved my gaming laptop because my MacBook Pro kept crashing. I realize that my gaming laptop doesn’t really need to be near the gaming PC if I’m not streaming. I ended up recording on the laptop. I did get on my VR headset for a little bit and I just recorded from inside the headset.

Wednesday

Ended up moving the gaming laptop back to the desk and sitting there with my iPad. It turned out to be a better choice because the mic that I used to record the podcast is there and I just changed it over to the gaming laptop. Spent most of the day at the egg sequence. My intentions are to totally upgrade all of my pets to 100% traits and then go to Challenger matches. The hundred percent does make a difference. But this means I’m running out of resources. I had to run sack my storage by bringing in my Corvette SS April Pvd with all the storage units.

Thursday

Managed to get most of my pets with the traits at 100% and then I got one pet to lay an egg that’s at 100% so it should be interesting when I give the eggs to one of my alts if they are the same, I haven’t gotten confirmation for the record sequencing eggs is very very, very, very, very boring. I even managed to hatch an egg that I had not fully gotten the trades up to 100%. I didn’t follow the rules which is to hatch the eggs check it’s stats and then if it’s stats are not right then reload but you have to make sure you make a save point between each attempt. I’ve also Godfather along in the arena Battle 87 Holl Arena battles and 20 champions defeated and I’ve beaten Oceanus nine times. The good thing about getting most of my pet pets set as far as the train but now I can actually play them because one of the other things is getting the stats up to 30 pets. I’ve only gotten 12. Oh that’s weird. I don’t see a place in the above chart for getting animals to 30. I’ll have to go look.

It’s starting to feel like we’re World of Warcraft back in the day when you would go to the wowpedia and Copy the skill tree that everyone else was using. I did a battle with Sebastian and April Pvd and it was OK but we didn’t get anything from it so you just get bragging rights. I guess you don’t even get XP. And just like in most PVP so will always be someone better than you. I don’t know, but I’m having fun.

Friday

Spend some time working on eggs. Traded some eggs to Aprillian and then decided I wanted this pet, which was in Hilbert which is supposedly the next one I get to, but I use the portal at the anomaly to get to Eiseent . So I ended up doing the portal thing with the first portal glyo 12 times and then getting to the center and then jumping in, but while I change my shit, I didn’t change my multi. Fortunately, I have a lot of Matt now because I was collecting mats so I lucked out but now I have a base in Hilbert and I have this pet.

There’s a lot of information on the pet page like trust and the age of the pets. I noticed that. The swirly pad I just got was an adult so I took it to a place and it laid an

Saturday

Spent most of the afternoon seeing which 100% pet on AprilPvd could produce eggs. Then realized summer still juvenile summer infants. But then I still had a couple of SSS that I still needed to get eggs from in order to make 100% it’s crazy monotonous but very satisfying at the same time. I am thinking of going back to doing most of this in VR because when I sit too long, my knees hurt does anybody else get that?

Going in for my battle with Oceanus and then modify some eggs and then back to championship battles. this means that every terminal I go to I make a purchase because I’m running out of mats. Of course I used a whole bunch when I had to repair my ship and even buying some strange stuff like I found some fuel will actually upgrade some pets so yeah, you never know. I’m trying everything even creature pallets did something.

At the end of the day, I have 29 pets 25 have three traits that are 100%. They are indicated by the acronyms after their names. I have four pets that I have eggs for tomorrow. I’m going to upgrade those eggs. What I’ve been doing is once the eggs are ready to hatch. I make a save point and then I hatch the egg and then check the page to make sure they are 100% across all three traits and then I restore. I know this seems silly, but I then delete or abandoned the parent and then hatch the egg. This way they go into the slot with a parent was. Then I rename them to the name of the parent because usually that corresponds to the base where I can take them to get more eggs. Speaking of getting more eggs I did get four eggs for Aprillian and she hatched one today and the SSS egg head inherited the hundred percent traits. So that’s kind of cool. It’s a lot of work but in the end, I’m just gonna have the same pets across all my characters.

I went back into VR because my knees were hurting from sitting so much. I got all my pets up to 100%. I took some pets around to lay eggs and I gave the eggs to Aprillian but couldn’t do all of my 29 because summer still too young
